On that same poll Warren has a low approval rating. She has been very vocal and public and people know her. One can also argue that since very few people know Bernie is has maintain a high approval rating. There have been people who have disliked him the more they get to know about him.

  5. "What do you mean by devaluing education? Is education a zero sum game?" College education is more than just sitting in a classroom, doing homework, and reading books. The issue with colleges is that we lack professors, TAs, tutors, etc. If more people go than the quality will go down because it will become similar to just herding people in classrooms, assigning them basic problems, and graduating them. No personal connections developed, no critical thinking assignments that require writing, and limited feedback. "Do you think that medical care in the US is better than in Scandinavian countries?" Arguably yes. As a whole, it is no better nor is it any worse.

  8. Bernie has been a politician for over 40 years. He is the establishment. And when he wanted the top seat in politics he decided to run as a democrat, not as an independent.

"voted against authorizing US military force in Iraq, voted against the Clinton-era North American Free Trade Agreement, voted against the discriminatory Defense of Marriage Act, " Great, so he did what every politician does, vote. But what has he actually done? What charities have he created? What businesses has he ran? All Bernie does is talk but does not actions. Now you can say that most politicians do that, and I would agree. But people are claiming Bernie has done a lot when in reality he hasn't. He is a career politician.

  11. What did I say that was wrong? Fact is that there is a trend. So you are saying the senators of WY are popular as well? How many people outside of WY can even name the senators? You do know those polls were limited to the citizens of those states. Bernie has a high approval rating according to the people of VT. That does not mean he is popular.

  14. Bernie only cares about himself. While millions and millions are working longer hours for lower wages he buys a third home. What has he ever done for the community? Nothing. And standing on stage running your mouth is not doing something. Anyone can do that. He wants to expand the min. wage which has been shown to raise teenage unemployment, and he wants to put those teens on government jobs so there are more people dependent on him while he enjoys his three homes.
