  1. People are attacking Jimmy for using his sad story to push his political belief on others. It is a pure appeal to emotions. The healthcare debate goes beyond being "decent". It is an economic issue. How about Jimmy Kimmel donates a few of his millions in medical research.

  2. denise, defense spending is around 4% of our GDP. Healthcare is around 16% of our GDP. Defense spending is small. "EVERY AMERICAN SHOULD BE ABLE TO GO TO THE DOCTOR IF THEY ARE SICK." We lack doctors, nurses, surgeons, researchers, etc. Believe me, it we could easily give healthcare to more people as Jimmy is suggesting than the vast majority will be on board with it. The reality is that it isn't that easy. This is why in the end people like Jimmy and the guy in this video have nothing but appeal to emotions for their argument as they cannot give support to their argument with facts and logic.

  4. No, the reality is that celebrities live in their bubble. Kimmel does not understand the complexity of healthcare on an economic standpoint. If we could give healthcare to everyone than the vast majority will support that. The reality is that we can't. Healthcare is not that simple of an issue which is why the left have nothing but appeal to emotions and name calling like you see in this video.
