  2. Because the reality is that when the truth is exposed the left ends up looking like radicals. Start with guns We already have many gun laws on the books and background checks already. The number of guns in this country is increasing while the number of murders are decreasing. Most gun deaths are suicides. Taking away guns, which is basically the next step at this point for the left, is not going to cure the person. We have to find a way to lower crime overall without removing rights. I always find it ironic how the left wants take away guns for "safety" but then when I suggest that we remove the 4th amendment and allow the government to randomly search people's homes they freak out. Obamacare jacked up the rates of the middle class and kicked many off of their healthcare. Those 22 million are poor and young, with the poor being the free loaders. I am sorry, but politically this is smart for the republicans and is not going to harm them come the next two elections. The fear mongering from Pocahontas and the communist isn't going to go far.
