  5. August Rush, wealth does not equal income. You could, technically, but worth millions as you have millions in wealth and still have $0 in income. You can also have millions of dollars and have negative wealth due to being in debt.

  6. Playongo, you need to understand what wealth is. You can put me in the top 1% of wealth and I can be worth millions if you simply give me the hope diamond. That little object is worth millions and me having it will make me wealthy. People are wealthy because they possess things of value. The things they possess of value are typically businesses that produce a lot of revenue. It isn't that they own a lot, they have assets that are valuable.

  7. doubllechief, apparently you don't understand the difference. Again, Jeff Bezos in terms of cash does not have much. He earns $81,000 a year (around there). He is wealthy because he owns most of Amazon's stock. Him owning that stock makes the company worth that much. If you were to give Amazon to some average Joe on the street that company will go bankrupt as they would not have the ability to run it meaning they will not have more wealth.
