  1. It does lean left.  Anyone who doesn't see that is a complete left wing radical that feels that they are not left enough.  They way they pandered Obama and bashed Bush it was pathetic.  With the exception of Fox which leans right the media leans left.

  2. sharper68 I support progressive policies.  What is a progressive policy to you?  Raising taxes on the rich?  So you want to remove wealth from the economy and actual investors and hinder growth?  Gay marriage?  Since when is giving more power to the federal government progressive?  More business regulations that cost money and don't help anyone like raising the min. wage?  It always amazes me how unprogressive "progressives" are.

  4. mintyvision Most of the people on TYT.  Except or Cenk, despite how much I disagree with him on some issues he is pretty independent, just a little ignorant at times.

  5. sharper68 That taxes on the rich are extremely high.  There was a point in time that the "rich" at the time paid very little taxes.  The top 10% pay nearly 50% of the income taxes.  That is removing wealth from the system in that they invest it to better their situation.  When they get better so does everyone else.  The rich just don't hoard all the money in that one, money isn't a resource that one can hoard and two, in order for them to get rich they have to invest their money. You take your money and just give it away you lower the value of it in your eyes and make your personal situation worse.  Now when you manage your money and invest it to better your life then you value money and improve your situation.  Same holds true for all the economy. If you take money from people who actually invest it and give it away you are hurting the economy.  So taxing the rich is not good, especially if the federal government does it.  Redistribution of the wealth doesn't exist because you destroy wealth in trying. And once again equality doesn't mean the government caters to certain groups at the expense of others.
