  7. Two things. One, statistically full time workers are not the ones collecting welfare. It is part time and temp workers. Only around 2% of full time workers collect welfare. Next, all this bill will do is encourage these businesses not to hire people on welfare making the situation worse off for the poor.

  8. That is your anecdotal situation, that does not counter Census data. You did bring up an important point. Welfare is dependent on household income, not individual income. But people like Bernie will never say that. Also, the Walton family have a lot of wealth, not a lot of money. Big difference there.
