  1. What Nugent said is metaphoric. Say during a campaign speech a candidate says "we are going to slaughter them this election" about an opponent. Is that violent or metaphoric? What Griffin did was more direct and graphic. There is a clear difference.

You are defending Madonna because she is on the left and you are an extreme liberal. As a moderate I see little differences in what Madonna and Nugent said. What Griffin did was much more direct and graphic. That is why she was criticized so much.

  3. rouge1ful Nugent didn't threaten anyone either. He was being metaphoric like Madonna was. But if you are going to claim that Nugent was threatening people then so was Madonna as blowing up the white house puts many lives in danger
