  1. dffykvn You have the feeling that the right want to remove government which isn't true.  They want to reduce the size of it.  The want to reduce the size of it to the point where we have state rights.  States should be the one setting up infrastructure and other programs.  The federal government is there to deal with foreign affairs and give US citizens the ability to control governments.  That is why they have no problem expanding the military budget or other foreign policies. The idea of state rights is to prevent corrupt government.  So while the left is afraid of corrupt businesses the right is afraid of corrupt government.  Expanding the power of the federal government has led to both corrupt government and business leading to crony capitalism.  So you are right, we need government and infrastructure but we can't allow the federal government to do it.

  2. Obama and the democrats have done a great job at making the government look bad as is.  Honestly, the majority feel the government can't run a program right.  The republicans don't have to do that.  Just walk into the DMV and see what a government run program looks like.
