  1. Only 1000 people were polled, not really reliable. You also have to realize that the questions are two completely different questions. One says "average american" where the other says "black people". One considers all black people, one considers all average americans. With all black people you are including the felon in a gang and the NBA player earning millions to throw a ball in a hoop. A very broad range. So this poll does not display any level of racism and pretty much is useless.

  2. To me I read the question about blacks as all blacks. That includes the felon in a gang and the NBA player making millions. A very broad range. The other just limits it down to "average American" which is also subjective and thus a poorly written question. What's average? Average income? Average educational level? I will say average income and say yes to that. But for blacks, it is a very broad question.
