  1. The Timekeeper, those options are not useful at the industrial level including scientific research. While we are making improvements on them we can't run our industry on those forms for energy. Fossil fuels are still the best option we have.

  2. Robert, Germany does not have the industry we do, nor are they they size of the US. Take wind for example. A lot of wind is generate in the midwest, so much so that Rock Port, MO was the first town to be completely ran off of wind. Now how do you get the energy to NYC or LA? We should try to use more renewable, but right now fossil fuels are the best we have.

  3. A pipeline is much better than shipping the oil. I guess we can use tankers which can crash on the roads and burns even more oil to transport the oil. You pick.

  4. Sean tap, France has no coal and it has no oil. They have no choice but to use alternative forms of energy.
