  4. Better jobs exist because there is a demand for higher skills. Collective bargaining has nothing to do with it. Some of those things also exist because of the payroll tax which has created more problems.

  6. This guy is an idiot. If you want sick days and a higher wage than get a better job. Everyone has the same rights.

  7. Unions did some to improve working conditions temporarily. But as we have seen, like in socialism, it doesn't last long term. Eventually unions get greedy, demand more then they are worth, and businesses leave. What does improve working conditions is capitalism. During that time you are praising taxes and regulations were also much lower for companies allowing for more economic growth. I guess it was also only a coincidence that Detroit and Baltimore were very strong in unions and companies left.
