  3. Why would the GOP have to move left? Right now they are the more moderate party of the two. If anything this defeat helped the GOP as Moore was an old, established republicans with too right leaning of views. Jones is a little more moderate. Next time around they can run a moderate candidate and win.

Brown won a seat held by Kennedy for years. Next election time Warren beat him. In a few years Jones will get beat by a republican. Republicans are going nowhere.
