  1. So people who are pro gun are afraid? I see it more of being cautious. No different then when I lock my doors at night, or wear a seat belt. Plus, not everyone has time to learn martial arts. I am busy getting my PhD. That requires a lot of work as is.

  2. Cautious is not the same as being afraid. Me being afraid would be me isolating myself from the rest of the world, or walking about with a vest on. I own four guns that I use for recreation. I have one loaded by my bed just in case someone tries to break into my home. Am I afraid? No. I live in a very safe neighborhood. But the possibly exists. You are just picturing me sitting there being paranoid about everything when in reality I am not. If anyone is afraid it is you who is afraid of an inanimate object. Along with being a PhD candidate I am a sports official (I won't say what sport because I don't want people tracking me down). To do that I need to be in shape and knowledgeable, especially for the college level. I workout a specific workout everyday and study film on a weekly basis. I simply don't have time to learn martial arts nor the money. Believe it or not I do get out of my home and have a life.
