Jessy Lee, it is clear you do not understand economics. We lack professors, TAs, tutors, dorms, classrooms, equipment, etc. More money is not going to increase the amount of goods and services to provide a college education to people. More money will mean more demand with stagnate supply leading to higher prices or lower quality.

" The original federal taxes were essentially two lines in the Constitution. It was a tax on the states. A problem with our current tax code is that it is so complex that the middle class doesn't have the time to fully understand it nor do they have the resources to pay someone to understand it. Talking to many college students, who ironically want more taxes, they did not understand that things such as buying textbooks is a write off.

Geoff, the US runs the world. Other countries laughing at us is simply them being scared of the US no longer propping them up and they have to do actual work. So laugh it up while you continue to fail.

WWZenaDo, we did not lose to N. Korea. N. Korea is a mess right now. The Vietnam and Middle East conflicts are issues we should not have been involved in, but how would other countries do? Not well at all. Do you really think the UK would have fair any better? Other countries can't even keep up with the NATO agreement. What makes you think they will keep up with the Paris Agreement? I feel the US should downsize their military to the point where other countries have to worry about themselves more and the US is only concerned about our own citizens. You will see those countries going from laughing to crying real quick. Sorry, but the world depends on the US.
