Who is sneezing on Geraldo's grandkids? I feel no matter the situation that is bad. Also, the vaccine does not stop one from getting infected and spreading it.

@enrique4693 if you are vaccinated why are you scared?
2
Slavery existed for hundreds of years. We got rid of it. Just because something existed for hundreds of years does not mean we should just keep allowing it.
2
@benjaminfrey1183 that was on federal troops, not the nation. Also, just because it existed for hundreds of years does not mean we should just blindly follow it. Slavery existed for hundreds of years.
2
@fangirl3086 it existed for hundreds of years and now it is gone. Again, just because something has existed for hundreds of years does not mean we should blindly follow it without question. And not all vaccines are the same. Just because one vaccine is mandated does not mean all vaccines should be mandated. Should we mandate chickenpox vaccines on everyone? No as most have natural immunity. I do, so I never took it. So saying that mandates existed for hundreds of years is a very poor argument. It is actually a very anti progressive stance.
2
Are you vaccinated? If so, why are you scared? Also, if vaccinated you can still spread it. Even the CDC said that.
2
If you are vaccinated what you are scared of? That is the level we are at. People are vaccinated but are still scared of the unvaccinated. So does the vaccine work or not?
1
Ok, now who defines a pandemic? I will argue covid is not a pandemic. Also, previous court cases can be overturned or incorrect. Remember Plessy v Ferguson?
1
You contradicted yourself. How do seatbelt laws endanger others?
1
@RippSnortin yep, it is pathetic how much the left keep moving the goal posts here. What is even more pathetic is that for years people like TYT and the left ripped on big pharma for years. Now they just take their word when told to take the jab. Big pharma is making bank here.
1
@ob1095 how long has the polio vaccine existed when I took it in the early 90s?
1
@CzarKing23 you know, I was sure on my ideas. But your convincing argument makes me wonder now.
1
@ob1095 people did question it at the time. Decades later of usage it is shown to be safe and useful long term. And how many polio shots do you need in a year for it to work?
1
@ob1095 not true. In the 50s there were questions about the vaccine. Efforts to eliminate it started in the 70s and did not come until the early 2000s and the earliest. Source "The History of Vaccines" From the College of Physicians in Philadelphia
1
@ob1095 what rules? Also, almost all who died with covid would have, based on many objective measures, would have been dead in the same timeframe to begin with.
1
@RippSnortin yep. The irony is amazing. I am a moderate but I view leftists as insane. This is one of many reasons why. For years I heard how bad big pharma was and corporate media was. Now leftists here trust them to the highest degree.
1
@RippSnortin I feel many are waking up, I just hope they fight the battle correctly. My new career requires this vaccine. I took it without fighting knowing that one, it is not that dangerous, two, it does not work in my opinion, and three, it is not worth losing my job for. But when it comes to voting I will vote against the left. I moved to a free part of the nation where there is no talk of covid. If a place requires mask I avoid it. For me, I feel the left is insane. I feel we can't fall into their trap and beat them in other ways. I feel in 2022 republicans will take over big time and again in 2024. They bought off more than they can chew. The vaccine mandates are pushing people to the right and now vaccinating kids is doing it even more. Time for more victories like in VA.
1
@ftjax not true.
1
The difference is that without mass media we have today you saw, first hand, people suffering. Most of the nation is open and has been for a year and things are fine. An actual pandemic would mean us, as people, see it first hand as opposed to being reminded about it daily.
1
@remyn.9198 it is a poor example. There are smoking areas. What people are pushing here is to take the vaccine or lose your job, or not being allowed to interact with society. Big difference.
1
It goes on both sides. Saying vaccine mandates exited for hundreds of years is flawed. Slavery existed for hundreds of years but we ended that.
1
@Eldritch-1 in many ways slavery was a net gain for America. Free labor, lower prices. So my point stands. Just because something existed hundreds of years does not make it right nor does it mean we should just keep doing it without question.
1
So did slavery, but we ended that.
1
@benjaminpeters6729 nope. It is that just because something existed for hundreds of years does not mean we should not question it and just obey. Don't you find it disturbing government can just, this easily, mandate medical procedures on people?
1
The problem is that if vaccinated you are safe. So why should you care if others are unvaccinated?
1
@marymalyon454 please do. I have a PhD in physical chemistry. This should be good.
1
@marymalyon454 so? I have to go to work in an hour
1
@colerogers3137 those diseases still exist bud.
1
If you are vaccinated what you are scared of?
1
One, flu shots are based on years of studying and previous flus that existed for years and it has been a annual things. Next, the other vaccines have been around for decades. Covid vaccines are novel, they fail after months (when was the last vaccine you needed three shots in a year to work), and this issue has been so politicized. Also, the fact that there are vaccine passports and people losing jobs over the vaccine is something that is not normal.
1
Poor argument. Slavery existed for hundreds of years but we ended that. We should question of vaccines should be mandated.
1
@akejechinweokwu4701 never said vaccine mandates were not new. My point is that just because something existed for years does not mean we should just blindly follow it without question. Also, just because one vaccine is mandated does not mean all vaccines should be mandated.
1
@akejechinweokwu4701 there is a process to change the Constitution. The Constitution has changed many times. Federal income taxes have not existed until 1865 and was shot down via the SC. A Constitutional amendment finally made it constitutional. A vaccine mandate is not always the best for the nation. Do you really think it is best to give government that much power? And think how much money big Pharma is making.
1
@stephaniefain1863 the mask does not protect you. Children are not at risk. So why are you still wearing a mask?
1
@katdoe192 people felt that the vaccine did keep people from catching and passing covid. And people do know their allergies. But even at that, people like Rodgers has basically a zero percent chance of dying from covid. How many NFL players have died with covid? Zero. I also find it ironic how the NFL seem to care about players now but for years try to hid CTE and concussions.
1
@HScarlet you are moving the goal posts. Does the vaccine speed up recovery? Or was the virus never that dangerous to begin with? The latter can very well be true. Most who became infected had mild to low symptoms to begin with. The vaccine was pushed on the idea it did prevent people from catching covid. Now the standards move to it will alleviate symptoms. Fact is people are being lied to and big pharma is cashing in.
1
@anishphi1 a lot of people really.
1
@AbiogenesisGaming a recent study from Harvard showed that vaccination rate did not factor in infection rate. Fact is this vaccine does not work long term. People still become infected. Natural immunity is best. Also, most have moved on in this nation. Only far leftists are freaking out. Even here in south bay where I am staying for the week many people are not wearing mask in the hotel. Despite a mandate a lot are not wearing masks and hotel staff are not enforcing it. And why? People are done. The virus is here, we just have to live with it. If you want to live in fear you can, most won't.
1
@Eldritch-1 you are moving the goal posts. Is it because of the vaccine or because the virus was never that dangerous to begin with? Most who were infected had mild to no symptoms.
1
@HScarlet that is true. That is why so many took the jab and dropped their guard. And yes, other vaccines prevented people from getting the virus. And when was the last vaccine you needed three shots in a year for it to work? T cells and B cells are not being developed with this vaccine as people are becoming infected where those cells last years.
