  1. Amazon deals with low skilled workers where in some cases you do not need a high school education of any type. These people are trained not to think but to do. This helps them. And no, it is not a "zap", it is a simple vibration. I have zero problems with this.

  2. I worked at Amazon warehouse as a temp at one point. The job is not hard but the minimum all you need is a GED. And even during peak times, such as in the holiday season, you do not even need that as they will hire temps who they will lay off later. The reality is those workers are not the sharpest tools in the shed and are trained to do, not think. This little vibration will help guide them throughout a large warehouse and increase productivity. I have zero problems with this. Anyone saying this will lead to a zap is being ridiculous, and this is not about "big brother" as that involves government and Amazon already heavily tracks employees to begin with. People are making a big deal out of nothing.

  3. "The solution is to train people better if there is an issue." Three things 1. These workers are not that intelligent to begin with, they work there for a reason 2. If they were trainable they will eventually move up to a higher position 3. They do not have time to train employees as many are temps, so the training is "do this" and move on. As with point 2, if they stay a long time they will keep you aboard. To get hired there the testing was very easy. You had to do simple things like place a fire extinguisher in the red square, identify what a fork lift was, and identify what movie starred Matt Damon by looking at a set fo DVD cases where it said "Matt Damon" in clear, and large writing on top of one of them. A 5th grader can do that test, that is the level of intelligence that was required to work there.
