  1. The size does matter. The more people you have the harder it is to get them to agree on things. Also, you are more diverse when you have more people. Those trying to compare the US to Sweden are incredibly ignorant.

  2. High Energy Jeb, if you want to compare two countries like that compare South and North Korea after the Korean war. One went more capitalist and one went more socialist. One can provide their people with lights now and one can't.

  4. "It doesn't scale because you say so?" No, with 320+ million people that is more diversity due to the many cultures we have in the US. Our states were the size of countries and all have different cultures and economies. You can't create a one size fits all policy at that point.

  5. Ivan, if you end up earning six figures many on the left will feel that you somehow cheated the system or had an advantage over others to earn that much. Thus they feel you should pay more in taxes to even the playing field. Now that is pretty ridiculous overall but that is how the left feels.

  6. MomoTheBellyDancer, we have a 7000 page tax code. You want fair share than implement a flat tax. Or do what we had before 1913, a tax on the states. I agree we have loopholes, but do not blame the rich for that, blame the politicians. Trump actually wants to do away with loopholes and simplify the code. But people mock him for his one page tax code when in reality it is more fair.

  7. futurestoryteller, TYT employees can very easily get involved in politics. Problem is that they, like most on the left, rather complain than actually do. Complain about how life is unfair as opposed to doing.
