  3. Dan Ryan Don't have a kid if you can't afford it.  Don't buy a house if you can't afford it.  Don't buy a car if you can't afford it.  Pull out a college loan. My dad made around $40,000 a year and owns a home, several cars, sent all three of his kids to college where 2 have their MBA's and I am getting my PhD.  My mom made $0.  I currently live off of $22,000 a year as a graduate student.  I own a car and have my own apartment. So what's you point?

  4. 4T3hM4kr0n! College loans are actually pretty low compared to what you end up making afterwards.....that is assuming you earn an actual degree.
