  1. So I guess we should not allow people to smoke anything as it harms the body. Or drink sugary drinks. Or eat greasy food. People knew the risk. When I signed up for football over 10 years ago I was told the injury risk, including death. I still played. You only live once, enjoy your life.

  2. There is a hypocritical stance to it. It is your body so you should be allowed to do what you want. Does that ring a bell for leftists? I will give you a hint, abortion. With youth football, those athletes are not a big and the shot are not that intense compared to the NFL, thus the sport is not that dangerous. So there is also an anti-intellectual side to it as well. Also, considering how Ana got a nose job and Cenk is obese, I do not need a lecture on them on how to be healthy.

  3. klakiti, with children the game is not as fast nor as intense. It is not as dangerous. Most kids avoid getting hit and if they do it is soft. It is nothing compared to the NFL. I work in college football with D-I athletes and I see how physical they are. Youth players are nothing. To me it is no different then kids wrestling in the playground. Compared to TYT I have way more experience in football. I have worked in it for 15 years from the youth level to the college level and have seen athletes go pro. I know and understand the physical nature of the game. Comparing the NFL to youth is rather asinine.
