Bernie was an independent until this election. He himself is a sell out. Also if Bernie supporters don't like close primaries then how about they vote in new state legislatures to change it? Be more involved in politics and not just getting involved when an old guy comes along and offers you free shit.

I can see it. Sanders and his supporters do nothing but make excuses and blame others, but they never take responsibilities for their own actions.

+ArcticSlicer How about Bernie supporters vote in other election to change those rules. Be more involved politics and not just when some old guy promises you free shit.

+Jace Solomon Because they are not involved in politics. They should be more involved in politics.

+Kang5030 Nope, it is true. Here is his mentality "Arrest successful people and make lazy people rich by giving them other people's money"
1
+Phenisher VNC He has been an independent. You need to learn what rights are.
1
+Lioseia Nishina I knew who Bernie was for a long time. As I said, people need to follow politics more. Maybe if Bernie supporters weren't so ignorant Bernie would have done better.

+Person Oisels He pretty much is a communist.
1
+Andrew Schmitt Ahhh, the old "educate yourself" response. What should I educate myself with? Communist Manifesto? The response of "educate yourself" is typical of a regressive liberal.

+flysmask Yes Bernie is all about "free shit". I agree, Hillary is a sell out. Bernie is as well. "workers rights" So we can just make up rights now? "protecting unions " That have become corrupt and overpowering themselves?
1
+Phenisher VNC I actually don't watch Fox News.

+Erik Statix How is Bernie going to change the corrupt system? By allowing the same corrupt government to now control our healthcare, education and more of our money with higher taxes?

+Person Oisels Considering how he wants to violate the constitution in so many way I will say he is committing treason
1
+Person Oisels Wanting the federal government to pay for college and healthcare
1
+Person Oisels Nowhere in the constitution does it say that the federal government is supposed to be involved in those programs. Thus they default to the states.
1
+Person Oisels The constitution directly lists what the federal government's role is. What isn't listed is left up to the states via the 10th amendment. Take education for example, it is not listed anywhere in the constitution. That is why the states and local government run and fund K-12 education and not the federal government. So yes, it violates the constitution.
1
+Person Oisels You have to understand what the constitution was designed to do. It was designed to place strict limitations on all governments, especially the fed. By my studies of the constitution and the founding fathers they wanted a limited federal government and state rights. The idea was to keep government as local as possible to ensure that it works for the people and prevent tyranny as much as possible. The federal government was not supposed to have a say in education, healthcare or individual taxes. Individual federal income taxes were unconstitutional until 1913. A temporary federal income tax was proposed to pay for the war of 1812 but was shot down. The fed. was not to have control of the citizens in any way besides treason. Obamacare is not constitutional. Point to me where the federal government has authority to get involved in healthcare. It doesn't. It isn't supposed to give partial funding at all. Bernie's plan is a national plan which goes against the principles of the constitution and thus violates it. Who do I support? Out of all of the candidates I support John Kasich.

Person Oisels The SC said the Kelo vs City of New London was constitutional, I feel it is safe to say they are not doing well in interpreting the constitution correctly. Centralized government simply won't work in a country of 320+ million people. Democrats and republicans at the state and local levels are different than the federal level. States ran by both have done well. My state has a republican governor and we are doing great. If a state wants to do it the democrat way then fine, I won't tell them no.
