So you support millions of businesses shutting down and screwing over workers and consumers? Many business models can't afford higher wages simply by how the market works.

@saschas2531 , because of the market many business models have low profit margins. For example, the vast majority of restaurants and essentially all grocery stores have low profit margins and thus can't pay a higher wage. You are advocating for those businesses to shut down. So when that happens where do we get our food? You have now screwed over the consumers, congrats.

@_Booker_DeWitt , many businesses can't pay a higher wage simply by how the market is. As I said, most restaurants and grocery stores have low profit margins simply by how the market is. That means they can't pay higher wages. So what you are advocating for is essentially the vast majority of hour grocery stores and restaurants to shut down. So when that happens how do we get our food? Answer that.
