If they would have planned ahead and got to the hotel this would have never happened. Think about it, two grown men with a underage girl sleeping in a car, that is suspicious and is placing all of them in danger. What is preventing someone from kidnapping that girl from that car? I don't see a problem here. Those legal guardians should have acted better.
