  1. So they talk about gun homicides, then say to look at population where they simply look at gun ownership? Really? Pure propaganda. Fact, in the past 20 years in this country we have seen the number of guns go up in the US and gun murders drop. But let us ignore that.

  2. That is the issue, we need to be focusing on preventing crime. Taking away the gun does not help the person. But regressive liberals don't like to work so they rather take the easy route of taking away guns. Funny part is that none of the laws they propose will actually do anything.

  3. Suicide is a completely different topic in itself. Guns have nothing to do with it. Really, guns are not the issue. We need to find a way lower gang activity and suicide. Taking away guns does neither.

  5. AndroidDoctorr Bad parenting. How did the child get a hold of the gun to begin with?  Also, why didn't the parent teach the child about gun safety?  I, along with almost everyone in my home town grew up around guns.  None of us were stupid with them and childs.

AndroidDoctorr I haven't done much research in Japan but with Australia them doing something is basically a myth.  Before their gun laws were enacted gun violence was dropping to begin with.  So basically what they did meant nothing as gun crime was already dropping. Accidents happen, in my eyes as a gun owner if you "accidentally" shoot someone you were not taking proper actions in handling a gun.  You can't blame the gun nor can you punish people who are actually responsible because of someone who is an idiot.  Do you take away freedom of speech because two girls stab someone because they heard the story of Slenderman?
