  2. Uriel Suarez I admit Fox is bias but in this case Fox is right here. Raising the min. wage won't help the economy. It will hurt jobs and raise prices. This is something TYT has been wrong on numerous times.

  3. Production has gone up because of technology, not because of harder work. Raising the min. wage hurts jobs, raises prices and hurts the economy. The average wage is over $24/hr so businesses already pay higher then the min. wage making the min. wage frivolous. People are paid low because they are not worth that much based on their skill. If you want to get paid more develop a better skill. Another stat for you, 89% of individuals earning $9.50/hr or less are not poor and their average household income is over $47,000/yr. That is because they are a second earner for supplemental income. NJ just hurt the job market for the unskilled workers. Unemployment will go up and the economy will go down. congratulations. And those that think businesses can pay more the fact is they can't. Anyone who thinks that never ran a business.

  5. Employers already pay higher then the min. age in that 5-6% of wage earners are min. wage earners, the rest make more. The min. wage is forced discrimination against the low skilled workers which is why we have such high teenage unemployment. Workers who don't pay a higher wage simply can't afford too.
