If you support middle class deductions then you support deductions for the rich and the corporations where some corporations pay $0 and Warren Buffet pays less than his secretary. This tax plan reduces taxes for everyone while removing deductions. This does a couple things. 1. It simplifies the code which is needed 2. The deductions are no longer necessary as everyone's taxes are going down On that latter part, how many middle class Americans even knew what deductions they had?

"Obviously you don't know your deductions" Actually I know about all of my deduction. I get a W2 and a 1099. I have my taxes down to where I pay very little in the end. Almost everything is an expense to my 1099 or school. For example, I took a trip to see the solar eclipse. I counted that trip, the food, gas, hotel, etc. as an education expense. Being a physical chemist I can justify it.

Hal Jordan, KS is one state. How about you look at TX? Or how about you look at Connecticut as an example of how high taxes do not work? Or CA which has the highest income inequality in the nation. Keeping pointing at KS, I can bring up more examples to counter that.

DucksDoctor, Cenk lied in this video. This tax bill cuts taxes in all tax brackets. The only information he is going out are the tax cuts for the rich, he never talked about other portions of the bill that cuts taxes for the poor and middle class. Cenk has many times simply told audience members to "look it up". He did a video on gun laws in this country and told people to "look it up". Meanwhile Steven Crowder did a rebuttal on it showing how wrong Cenk was. Whether Steven was correct or not, someone can "look it up" and find completely different results then what Cenk says.

" Please source that." Source what? It was in the debate. Watch the debate of Cruz vs Bernie on taxes. Cruz brought up a lot of numbers and Bernie never denied them. It took a guy from Denmark to finally get Bernie to admit he will have to raise taxes on everyone. In the healthcare debate Cruz laid out how much Bernie's plan will cost and showed how taxing the rich 100% will not pay for it. Bernie did not deny it.

They have different financial responsibilities. To you they have a lot of money, in reality they live a different lifestyle. If you were that rich you will see. For example, many rich people run charities and businesses. You only worry about paying for your rent

On the deductions, how many middle and lower class Americans even knew what deductions they had? I have talked to many college students that did not know they can write off textbooks they buy. Removing deductions and lowering the rate actually lowers the taxes for the middle class something TYT and their fans fail to realize.

A54321, the left can't read bills. They just pass them to see what is in it. Just like Obamacare when Obama said people can keep their plans. After passing Obamacare we found out the reality.

Chris, a tax cut is not a stimulus package. As for the rich keeping the money, under Obama you had the threat of high taxation and regulations, businesses did not want to invest.

It makes Cenk look like a bigger idiot. His arguments are flawed.
