  3. No they aren't. I worked a min. wage job and it required no thoughts. I now work on a half a million dollar laser set up. Much more stressful.

  4. Kevin, look at the top employers in Seattle http://www.edc-seaking.org/service/economic-data/economic-basics They are businesses that already pay high wages. That is how Seattle is able to get away with it as they have an economy that is strong. The increase in the min. wage is pointless as most people already were earning more. Please stop bringing up Seattle. It is displaying a high level of economic illiteracy.

  5. There isn't any economic benefit in raising the min. wage. You also can't compare it to the cost of living as it makes the assumption that min. wage workers are poor to begin with which is not true.
