  2. rouge1ful, if they are undocumented they are here illegally, thus they do not have the same rights. If they own a business they are most likely documented as they have to pay taxes. You are right now confused.

  3. J Rangel, there are laws that if you break them you can lose your rights immediately. If I were to go on a shooting spree my right to live will be immediately taken away and the cops can kill me on spot. If you break enough driving laws your right to pursue happiness will be taken away and you can't drive.

  5. crazepostdoc, illegals are illegals. They broke the law and are held under higher scrutiny compared to US citizens. I am not saying we go around shooting them. But they are not given the same rights as US citizens. They can't vote for example. On the shooting spree example, if I give myself up I will be arrested and brought to trial, but I will see life in prison. Illegals will be treated with some level of civility, but in the end they are breaking the law and will face punishment in some way, and that means less rights.
