Ok, you are right. Fail is acceptable. I was thinking failed. But I study physics and chemistry for a living, not English.

Zo King, you are right but you also have to understand that we need gradual change. People in their 30s and 40s are not going to learn new skills. We have to see that they are employed as well and push the younger generation into developing skills, especially in the STEM fields. The issue is that liberals pass policies that kill jobs for older people and than wonder why they vote against them.

Miles, think about it. Someone is in their 30s, has a job, has a family a home insurance etc. Now their job is gone. What do you do? You can't retrain them. The same problem happened in my hometown when a factory closed down the day after Obama was elected. Many lost their jobs. On top of that property tax revenue decreased. What kind of job do you give those people now?

blackearl, you can't stop progress, I will agree. And we shouldn't. But we should allow it to happen gradually. Doing that will mean jobs will gradually phase out and new ones will gradually take over. But when you force it than massive amount of people will lose their jobs leading to many suffering.

"You fail English" There is some irony in that statement.

It is more complicated than that. There are plenty of jobs for high skilled workers, as workers with college degrees, especially in the STEM fields. The problem is that those in their 30s, 40s and beyond are not going to go after those jobs as they won't develop those skills. We need to push younger people to learn those skills while trying to keep other jobs for older individuals. Ana and TYT clearly don't understand economics.
