There is a difference here. Trump had nothing to gain by becoming president. Him, just like many others who are rich, could have paid off someone to run for office. Instead he ran and won. Of course he is going to surround himself with people like him. That is what normal people do. But in the end he did not have to run for president as he was already rich. I trust him over a career politician.
