  1. There is no such thing as common sense when it comes to the law. At the age of 18 you are consider an adult. You graduate high school, you are expected to get a job or go to college and you are starting to go on your own in life. You age quickly. I look back at myself when I was 18 and I was dumb. Now, at 26 I would never date anyone under 21. Even at that I see my friend who is 22 and feel she is really young. Date people around your age.

  2. This is "equality" to them. I have no problem with the gay community but this is a problem that will come up more then once. People will feel like others are being targeted since they are gay which isn't the case. The same holds true with race. People are going to start playing the gay card.

  3. At 21 you can legally drink. At 17 you are still going to prom. You age very quickly in our society from 17 to 21. If you are 21 and you are dating a 17 year old you really need to re-think your life.
