  1. Defense spending is around 4% of GDP, healthcare is 1/6 of GDP. Simple math shows that cutting defense spending won't pay for it. Wall street speculations will just hurt trading where a lot of retirement and healthcare pensions exist there to begin with. Taxing the rich just means they rich move their money. In places like Canada they have a higher sales tax that citizens pay.

  3. The Koch Brother study does not say it would save money. Anyone who says it does has either not read it or can't think for themselves.

  4. Canada taxes their citizens more. In the US they just want to tax the rich which is similar to what Venezuela does.

  5. Venezuela used oil, took money they earned from oil and basically gave it to the people. As a whole it took money from one source and gave it to someone else. When the oil market fell through they ran out of money. Canada and Nordic nations taxes citizens more, so it takes money from the citizens and gives the money back to them. What people from TYT and the ultra left wants to do is tax the rich, one source, and give to another. When the rich leave that source leaves just like how the money left when the oil went under, thus people are screwed. That is the clear difference. I can go deeper on this if you want, but in short what the ultra left wants is similar to what Venezuela did.
