  1. Sag Norm, plane tickets like that are expensive, and traveling takes time. In the Bay area many live in places like Walnut Creek or Fremont or even San Jose. Those places are cheaper than San Fran, but commuting sucks. And they are still not cheap. You can work in San Mateo, Sunnyvale or Mountain View and then commute to Pleasanton or Fremont which takes 2 hours in the afternoon on the 680. Now compare that to some place in the Midwest like Kansas City. You can work in KC and then live in Smithville or Gladstone which takes around 30 minutes to commute as traffic is small. Also, cost of living is low there as well. There is a difference.

  2. Shk 1816, "Trickle Down Economics" is not even an economic term. And while you can point to KS many can point to Connecticut. They have had high taxes and are a mess. Also, as the other person said, list some deregulation policies that took place. Name them.
