@chantaltestman6916 again, you don't have a right to healthcare. Many issues related to health involve parental consent.
"However, they cannot deny you health care based on factors such as your race, religion, GENDER and sexual orientation. "
And they are not doing any of that. There is no law on the books that do that.
On the Hobby Lobby situation there is religious freedom, also it was only for a couple of forms of birth control, not all. Other forms were allowed by the coverage Hobby Lobby offered. As for the Walgreens case, how did that turn out? And a couple of examples is not the norm.
Many times parents tell their kids what to say and how to think. Take religion, for example.
" but if the GOP is successful in taking away their basic rights"
Again, what rights? There are no laws that says trans cannot own a home or cannot attend schools.
"If GOP gains power on the local and state level, we will see more trans youth at risk of being exploited by a system that is design to discriminate against them"
How so? Lisa Littman, a professor from Brown University published a study entitled
"Parent reports of adolescents and young adults perceived to show signs of a rapid onset of gender dysphoria"
suggests that social media plays a role.
