Just like placing kids on medication for mental illness can lead to that. Next, read the BBC article entitled "Questions remain over puberty-blockers, as review clears study" So who is the one not arguing in good faith? You who just blindly accepts something or me looking at the research on a complex issue with limited data?

From the BBC "Questions remain over puberty-blockers, as review clears study" As for my original article, the point is that a lot of times placing kids on medication can lead to issues as an adult. It is the same as mental illness and medication. There is debate on placing kids on medication for mental illness as it can harm them as an adult. People here are saying there is no debate, and that it will not harm kids. The reality is there is a strong debate. Consider this, at least. What percent of the population are trans? Now consider that is a small number and thus we have a very small sample size to draw a strong conclusion.

The percent of people being trans is very small. And thus our sample size on this issue is very small to where we cannot draw a strong conclusion. We have a larger sample size of placing kids in medication for mental illness and that is up for debate. You can call me a bigot all you want but I am going to follow the science. And right now the science is not clear.

Right now the economy sucks, our nation is highly divided, the world is about to enter a world war, we have a president that just yells at people, etc. And all democrats do is cry racism, sexism, bigotry, and bring up Trump. People don't care that school board members changed the name of a school, or deBlasio paints "black lives matter" in front of Trump Towers, or that Biden is going to pick a black woman to be on the SC. And during that time these same democrats post online them living a rich life with no mask, expensive homes, freezers full of food, etc. They care about their pocket book and being left alone. The left has gone insane.

Dude, Mike is wrong. This law stops puberty blockers and surgeries. There are debates on such treatment on kids. This is not a clear issue.

@bluepuppy7 you may say no doctor is handing out the pills now. But what about in the future? Remember the opioid crisis? Or look at our mental health care in how many doctors just quickly prescribe drugs even on the first visit. Haven't you seen, after covid, how messed up our healthcare system is and how many "experts" and "doctors" can be awful?

There is damage to the kids both physical and psychological.

@NoFreedoms-f1d I have debated them a lot. They have the same talking points or resort to name calling. As for the talking points, you see it here with someone saying "not a single peer reviewed study" when in fact, there such studies. It is sad how lost these people are.

" ' There is limited data to suggest that. There is an article that suggests puberty blockers are necessary, but they do not prevent homelessness where what is needed is support. This is a complex issue and the data is limited as less than 1% of the population is trans to begin with.

@dragonspartan9031 then what about the BBC article I just posted? Why not read that? That is about puberty blockers on kids. And also, as I said, this can transition into adulthood. If you want to go with the fact my original paper has nothing to do with kids then fine. Even though the fact this is being looked at with adults should raise a concern that it should be an issue with kids. But why not also look at the BBC article I posted that look at many studies on both sides of the issue?

@rahimn9246 I live in TX as well. What I have seen is one of the most diverse areas in the US. I love it. People, for the most part, are friendly. They keep to themselves. They work hard and fun to be around. I agree many of our leaders push certain issues to divide us so the elites can succeed. Sad that people like Mike can't see that. But living in TX now and it is great.

Same in that some states have the death penalty and others don't. So while no state legalizes murder, the murder laws on the book are different in the states.
