On the voting part there is something there. When I moved to TX I did not vote this past election as I only lived there a year and felt I did not know the state well enough to play a role in how the state is ran by people who lived there longer. Same with when I moved to NV. I did not vote. It is the ethical thing to do.

@melgibson7313 kid, past your bedtime.

It can arguably be that way. You have people living there for years and do not like an outsider coming in and changing their ways. Compare it to this. During my graduate studies near the end of it my PI was going to get a post doc. I said to him I will not listen to the post doc despite him technically having a more advanced degree and higher up than me. My PI agreed and said that many times veteran grad students get into arguments with post docs as veteran grad students have their ways and do not want some new person changing them. Same applies here. I just moved to TX, I did not vote in 2022 as I do not know the state or area enough.

To me I feel the idea is good all around in all states. With local elections you are voting for you local community. Someone new there does not know about their local community. I recently moved to TX and did not vote in 2022 as I did now know TX well enough. Did the same thing when I first moved to NV. Overtime I will learn like I did with NV, but at first I felt it was unethical to vote in a local election in a state I knew little about.

It is because they are locusts. It is also because they are spoiled and greedy They are mainly people who are well off and want everyone else to do the work. So when their state gets destroyed because people who actually work and produce leave, they flee to a red state, vote for the same laws and chase people away.

@cjgroves4429 if you are talking about me I am not a conservative. I am a moderate. Also, as for your comment on "mental disorder".....how "liberal" of you. You do know there are many successful people in life that has suffered from mental disorders? I bet you make fun of people in wheelchairs.
1
@cjgroves4429 no, I am a moderate because I see both sides of the argument and I am willing to work with others. People like you are dictators. You want to force your way on others. I am here to have a discussion. We can disagree, but I want others to realize that there are very good people out there in life that you will disagree with. There are very good people out there that vote republican. I suggest you get to know them.

"it's totally lost on her that the west and eastern states provide most the welfare for her supporters" That is 100% false.

The issue is that these people are like locusts. They flee a state they destroyed to go destroy another one.

@philliph8991 in a lot of cases that does happen. A lot of people blame others and not themselves. A lot of people will look in the mirror and not see them as a problem. "Many are leaving Cali due to its increasingly poor outlook over the long term due to global warming and rising costs" What is causing those rising prices? Poor policies. And global warming? Really? Explain the increase in population in warm states like TX and FL then.
1
@philliph8991 so only the pacific is rising? Not the gulf or the Atlantic? " Republicans giving massive control to corporations to buy out land and commodities. " Such as? Also, I have yet to see a corporation force people to do things, government has. " Florida is still cheap to live as well as texas. Not for too much longer though." I live in TX. Our future is bright as long as we keep the crazy libs out. However, you saying "not for long" is proving my point. Libs move in and destroy everything.

What federal oversight? Most who want any kind of federal oversight on the right have strict standards in doing so.

How so?
