  1. $125,000 in the bay area in CA is nothing, especially if you are raising a family. That is one of many things that makes this whole thing stupid. I live in TX, an affordable place, and make nearly $100,000 a year with a job I obtained right out of graduate school. I can afford to pay my loans. This loan forgiveness is stupid.
