  4.  @tuuudes3449  the excess deaths are not from covid. To start, covid deaths are overstated. Based on many objective measures almost all who died with covid would have been dead in the same timeframe to begin with. As for excess deaths. There was an increase in substance abuse in the lockdowns and thus increase in substance abuse deaths. There was an increase in cancer deaths due to a decrease in cancer screening. There was an increase in depression which weaken immune systems. That, along with lack of access to gyms led to weaker immune systems. How many became and sick and died from covid who would not have been if they were living normal lives and were not depressed and thus did not have weaken immune systems? Suicides were up as well.

  5.  @ActuallyDoubleGuitars  yes, you can reduce the risk. With an illness you can do things to reduce it. But there comes a time where your approach to reduce a risk causes more problem.

  10.  @tuuudes3449  what is very anti science is to look at a number and attach one variable to it. In this case with what you are doing that is covid. You are saying "excess deaths" and saying it is because of covid. Well, to be fair you can say that because a lot of the covid restrictions led to increase in depression, increase in substance abuse, etc. But it was not because of people dying with covid.
