  9.  @morganrowell1373  not writing off others, stating the truth. You are writing off the millions who are suffering financially and psychologically so 80 year old grandma does not get the virus but dies anyway due to many other health factors. The fact is there has to be a balance. There will always be damage done to some degree, but we try to do the least damage. The covid restrictions have cause more damage than what the virus would have ever done. "You can't make such a simple sacrifice of some freedom, some discomfort and enjoyment for the sake of other health and safety? " I can say the same about others. Just because you are at risk does not mean I should have to cater to you. It goes both ways. I know many who suffered because of the covid restrictions. I had a student who became depressed and alcoholic because of it. I had a student who had limited internet access and had to do her online test in her car sitting outside of the public library to use their wifi. What about them? Screw them is what you are saying. As for loved ones, their safety depends on you and them. Do not rely on others. Compare it to traffic laws, even with them you still have to be an aggressive driver. I walk to work and have for nearly 10 years. I cross the street where I push a button to cross with flashing lights to warn cars to stop. Even with that I wait to make sure the cars do stop as many times some don't. Why? Because my safety ultimately depend on me. If you or a loved one is scared, you and them can stay home. But when you interact with society you accept a level of risk. People should not be forced to cater to you just like I will not expect you to cater to me.

  10.  @morganrowell1373  is financially struggling and living in fear really living? I feel it is not. Also, just giving people checks does not help them psychologically. "Your the kind of person that screams about "your freedom" over the lives of others. " There is a balance. 8000 people die a day on average as is, many situations are avoidable, be we never take drastic measures in the past. Why? Because doing so will cause more damage and also the freedom argument is legit. So many people like you are so afraid of death that you refuse to live life. If you are scared you can stay home, others will live life. "We already have lost almost 600k people" Deaths of covid are highly overstated as most will be dead during the same time frame. 40% of covid related deaths are nursing home patients. According to a UCSF source years prior to covid 50% of new nursing home patients die within 6 months and the average lifespan is a year. So here we are taking drastic measures causing major psychological damage to many young people to someone who is old and/or sick does not die with covid but dies anyway. What have we accomplished at that point? Nothing, we have done a lot of damage though. " We all must work together to prevent the virus from spreading and evolving but you obviously don't care about it or others." You do not care about others as I pointed out many times. You do not care about the psychological issues people are facing now, the many businesses that are shut down forever, the kids who lost a year of schooling, etc. People die all the time. Almost all who died of covid this past year would have been dead anyway. That is a fact. As for the virus evolving, coronaviruses have existed for years, this virus was not novel. That is how a vaccine was able to be developed so quickly because there was research on it from prior years.
