  6. Unions are prone to corruption. It also pushes out lower skilled workers preventing them from getting jobs just like the min. wage did. Also, in many sectors it hinders productivity and costs workers more. Starbuck workers are mainly part time and short term and cannot afford union dues to begin with and do not need to unionize. Unions are more for factory and mine workers, people who work full time and are doing it to earn a living. Unions are not for part time workers making your latte.
