You are no better calling conservatives ideals dumb. This is a major reason why we are so divided in this nation. Many, especially those on the left, just want to name call and dismiss others. A big reason why Trump won is because people are sick of the elites, especially the liberal elites talking down on them as if they are stupid. I support ideas that are right leaning and when I say that I get called a racist, dumb, a bigot, etc.
Consider the recent Kyle Rittenhouse situation. We have become so divided that you have this mess of a situation of rioters being called protestors, and Kyle trying to defend his community and was attacked in doing so, and thus defended himself, is called a racist by the left.
Or even take this case of Big Bird. It is disturbing that there is this propaganda coming from a kids show on this novel covid vaccine where kids are not at threat. Or that if it is for educational purposes how there are no counter arguments against the vaccine.
You saying they have worse takes does dehumanize them. It is the same as Biden crying for unity but really he means those who disagree with him should just submit to him. You are doing the same, you are saying "your ideas are stupid, join our side". That is dehumanizing.

@maxryan186 here you are dehumanizing people. How many conservatives do you actually interact with? The vast majority are not homophobic nor racist. I will say well over 90% at least. The only political side that keeps making one being homophobic or worry about race are the left. Conservatives don't care if you are gay or black. They judge you as an individual. Trump hired Richard Grennel to be on his team and no one said anything. Biden picks Mayor Pete to be on his team and the left wing media goes wild celebrating how Pete is gay, as if that matters. Or look at the recent Kyle Rittenhouse situation. The left is making about race when three white individuals were shot and Kyle harmed no one who was black.
You calling them nazis is dehumanizing. What you are doing is that instead of trying to understand these people you dismiss them and call them names. I really don't know why the left went that far. I feel it is for a lot of reasons. In your case I feel that it is one, you refuse to actually understand people on the right. And two, you strongly support your ideas but when challenged you can't defend them so you call your opponents nazis and racists.
You have an opinion for many reasons, mostly it is based on what you experience in life and how you were raised. That is who most develop their beliefs. I lived out west near the bay area, I just moved to TX. I also grew up in the midwest. The culture of each area is different, but they are not bad people. Just what they been through living there creates their ideas. I bet my opinions are different than yours. I bet with that you will call me a racist. Let us see, my boss is black, my landlord is black, I live in a city with many black individuals and work at high schools of mainly black students. Like almost everyone I met so far here in this new city I live in, very friendly. Heck, the guy who just inspected my car is black. So how am I a racist? Because my opinions are different than yours? Or with anyone on the right?
What you are doing is dehumanizing people.
