@sekhmara8590 how do I troll here? I ask a question that is simple. For example, how is Trump a fascist? If the answer is so clear like all here make it out to be, you guys should easily give me examples. If I disagree I give a counter argument for you to consider and then explain more how he is a fascist. At that point, if you can't, then perhaps you are incorrect which you are not willing to admit. Thus, you name call.
2
@sekhmara8590 so you admitted you started out with name calling. I am here to have a discussion because I feel a big problem with our nation is that we are divided and don't have discussions. It is causing problems and many of the elites, especially on the left push for it more while they get rich. Here we are divided as citizens and Biden enjoys Thanksgiving in a home worth 10s of millions of dollars.
2
That is good. People voted for Trump because they are sick of these career politicians talking down to the people, harming our nation while they become millionaires. In the republican party you had Romney in 2012 saying 47% of people do not pay federal income taxes and he should not care about them. So replacing people like that in either party is great.
2
Mike dropped out of graduate school for a reason.
2
@Rae Tavia what is wrong with the constitution? Also, at the federal level we are not a democracy.
2
@The_Opinion_of_Matt no, it is a republic. Nothing at the federal level is determined by the majority of the people, and for great reasons. The federal government is there to serve the states, not the people. Thus the states send representatives to Congress to represent their state. With that, the federal government's duties are essentially deal with foreign affairs and commerce between states. Everything else is left up to the states. How the states manage that is up to them. It can be a straight democracy, or a similar system at the federal level with counties, etc. So we are not a democracy.
2
@Rae Tavia the constitution is fine. How has it not caught up with the times? The constitution sets up the framework for how this nation should function. That is the federal government being there for foreign affairs and commerce between states. Everything else is left up to the states. It allows the people to govern themselves.
2
@Rae Tavia the presidency is not selected by the democratic process, it uses the electoral college. Yes, representatives in congress are elect by a democratic process, but consider the Senate and how each state gets two.
2
@Rae Tavia state rights are there for several reasons. 1. Every state have different cultures, different resources, etc. Thus, states adopt their government to function what is best for those situations. I am living in my 3rd state now in my life. I see the differences and need for state rights 2. The more local government is the more control the people have 3. It spreads out the responsibilities. A centralized government can't manage the entire nation as large as the US is. 4. It limits the power of the federal government, and all governments really as it is spread out. And as I said, the more local government is the more control the people have. I can add more, but state rights are important.
2
It would be because it will possibly get the left to wake up, that no matter how hard they try the people will rally against them. That people are sick of the liberal elites always crying "racism" or pushing covid
2
@CrowTR0bot they are. Leftists like Mike here and across the nation, including many of Mike's fans here follow those liberal elites no question.
2
@Mydogslove2laugh why? All Sam does is deflect and it takes a long time responding with all of his "um, uh"
2
@sekhmara8590 easy Covid restrictions Vaccine and mask mandates Believing Trump was a fascist, racist, bigot, dangerous, etc. Feeling the impeachment of Trump was legit as opposed to being political Believing the 2020 election did not need an investigation despite there being irregularities and transparency would be great overall That is a start, I can keep going. Overall, the Trump years showed that leftists like you will just listen to the liberal elites without question. They say orange man bad and you just obey. This is why I come here. I ask questions on how is Trump a fascist or racist. I usually get no response. To me leftists only believed it because the liberal elites told them to.
2
@lisabagdonjones1950 the vaccines were not free, our tax dollars are paying for it. Also, they are not two different issues at this point. Now there is a push for boosters and talks of a new variant. What other vaccine required 3 shots in a year for it to "work"? And there is doubts it even does work?
2
@lisabagdonjones1950 how many kids over these 2 years died with covid? Now compare that to other threats to kids such as the flu and car accidents. Many schools have been open for over a year now with no problems. If covid was such a threat to them we will be seeing high death rates. We aren't. " And the reason you haven't had to get vaccinated for anything to work is because you had them all as a kid. " Not always. Some require boosters. I received two booster a couple years ago because I was a student on campus. If I was working where I work now I would not need them. And many kids are home schooled thus no vaccines. Did adults have to show proof of having the measles vaccines to keep their job?
2
Dems, at this point, are making things miserable or people on purpose as punishment for the people rising up and electing Trump in 2016 to begin with. When all attempts to remove him failed they went to covid, shut down the nation, and mocked people while doing so. Even with Biden as president the economy sucks and democrats still do mask mandates despite a vaccine existing. Even if dems lose in 2022 and 2024 it would be worth it as the typical American citizen's live is miserable.
1
@223Drone so do you have a reason why what I said is false?
1
@223Drone funny in how I responded to you and cited a study in doing so. Meanwhile, you provided nothing. Many, your intelligence is low. Need I remind you that you can't even answer a simple question I give you?
1
How are they fascist? I can tell you how the Biden team are fascists.
1
@Rae Tavia one, how are they fascists? Next, the Biden team is pushing for A vaccine mandate Suing states that pass laws they disagree with trying to overpower state rights Biden, when asked about polling, blamed the people for simply not understanding what is going on and are afraid (basically calling them dumb). He does not take responsibilities He is signing more executive orders than Trump did He wants to use unelected agencies like OSHA to push mandates on people essentially giving him power to override congress If it weren't for the SC overturning a lot of what Biden is doing we will be in a mess. Biden and his team are fascists at this point.
1
@Rae Tavia see how easily I can respond to you where you have nothing? If you cannot give clear reasons why Trump is a fascist quickly it makes me wonder if he really is or do you just have talking points.
1
@Walter Mennekens 1. He did not call foreigners rapists. If you are referring to what he said about illegals he is correct, the illegals are not the best coming out of that nation and some are rapists. 2. There was no muslim ban 3. The idea of separating kids from parents who cross illegally is to see if the parents are the real parents of that kid. Many illegals use kids as a way to get in to the nation and abandon them. As for "cages", where should they go? The Hilton? 4. A lot of the news is fake. Case in point, look at the Rittenhouse situation where many in the news immediately called him a racist. 5. How is he anti science? 6. What? 7. When? 8. What attempt of an insurrection? Asking people to go peacefully and protest is not an insurrection. The storming of the capitol in what happened was not what he wanted. So you can counter what I said or give me more examples.
1
@Walter Mennekens going to at risk nations have many restrictions. Thing is you do not have to travel there. With the current vaccine mandates it is saying you can't interact with society nor work at your job until you get vaccinated. Basically, you can't live a life without a vaccine. That is different than traveling to an at risk nation. There lies the difference.
1
@Walter Mennekens "If they wanted to poison you or something like that there's far easier ways to do it" How so? Also, this could be experimental. Ever heard of the Nuremberg Code? It came about because scientists used humans for experiments in the past.
1
@223Drone how am I an anti vaxxer? You do know I am vaccinated?
1
@223Drone still waiting for an answer. Thousands of kids die a year in traffic accidents in the US. What will make that number to be zero will be to ban kids from going to roads. Do you support that? With your immediate name calling (when I am vaccinated) and the fact you keep refusing to answer that question it shows you don't care about improving our nation and learning more.
1
@223Drone "Many Holocaust memorial groups have denounced such comparisons." You have a source for that?
1
@223Drone " You promote conspiracy theories about the vaccine all the time not to mention you said on numerous occasions that you refuse to get vaccinated." Vaccinated now. As for conspiracy theories, they are concerns. What other vaccine do we have to take to show to restaurants to eat indoors or for us to keep our job? I took the vaccine because my job required it. They do not require any other vaccine. Why? I took the vaccine because I feel it is safe, it just doesn't work based on a recent Harvard study. Still waiting for your sources and for you to answer my question.
1
@223Drone what other vaccine did you need 3 shots in less than a year for it to "work"? And even after vaccination, why are there still places with mask mandates?
1
@lisabagdonjones1950 which opinion do you want support for? I usually do provide support. If you want me to be more clear I can.
1
@223Drone "The Auschwitz memorial stated on Twitter statement it's wrong to compare the vaccine to the Holocaust." But not the Nuremberg Code.
1
@223Drone please answer the question and stop name calling. We can be civil here.
1
@223Drone I am asking a question. It is a question that is similar to what economists ask. And how am I am wrong? The Nuremberg code is to prevent human experimentation. The vaccine was never fully tested. There are arguably two experiments going on, the vaccine along with how many people can be controlled. People just keep submitting when it comes to covid protocols while the same people creating them violate them.
1
@223Drone please answer the question. Thousands of kids die a year in traffic accidents. You can make that number to be zero if you prevent kids from going to roads. Do you support that idea? Please answer it. Again, a similar situation is brought up in economics to reveal very important concepts.
1
@MephilestehDarkness it is not an irrelevant question. Here, you answer it and I will show you why it is not irrelevant. Thousands of kids die a year in traffic accidents. A way to make that number to be zero would be to ban kids from going near roads. Do you support that? Answer it and I will explain to you the concept in how it started with the person I am asking it to.
1
@MephilestehDarkness so are you going to answer the question to show how it is not a deflection?
1
@223Drone there is a question. Why don't you answer it? It is very relevant. The fact you cannot answer a very simple question makes me question your intelligence.
1
@223Drone look up the article entitled "Postmarket Safety Events Among Novel Therapeutics Approved by the US Food and Drug Administration Between 2001 and 2010" Where it says 1/3 of FDA approved drugs had problems. But hey, here I am giving you evidence while you provide nothing. Go ahead and blindly trust the FDA as if they have not been wrong before.
1
@223Drone I am asking a question. It is to see your standard. The fact you cannot answer a simple question shows your intelligence. Many experiments were conducted then, including psychological ones. One that is happening now is seeing how far people can be pushed for government control. You know, take the vaccine but still wear masks. I gave you an article about the FDA
1
@223Drone The FDA approved opioids. You saw where that led. But of course you will just blindly follow a government agency. With your low intelligence you can't think for yourself.
1
I love how people on the left keep bringing up Trump because the left is doing poorly at managing the nation. Even Psaki, when she was asked about Biden's comments on Rittenhouse before the trial, she deflected to Trump. The left need Trump to hang around because it masks all of their failures.
1
@Mainely under investigation for what?
1
@Gerbilsarefriends how did he commit treason?
1
@Rae Tavia ok, what? Tell me. I see nothing. Also, you support investigating him but not the 2020 election. I find that to be hypocritical.
1
@Rae Tavia how so? Heck, in honesty, I support investigating Trump as I support transparency. Nothing will come from it like the Russia investigation revealed nothing. Just like the 2020 election should have been investigated for transparency in one of the most unique elections of all time due to everything that went on. So yes, you are being hypocritical.
1
@Mainely how am I a troll? Because I ask challenging questions you can't answer? I asked a very simple question. If the answer is so clear people here should be able to answer it easily. Instead, I get named call by people like you. So that begs the question on if Trump really did things like commit Treason, or what should be be investigated for. Maybe you are in the wrong.
1
@Timeisaflat_O it wasn't investigated. All investigation attempts were stopped. You bring up cases, there was no evidence because there was no investigation. Who lost? We are all losing at that point. Our nation is a mess under Biden and do you think career politicians care? No, they are getting rich while we fight each other. Why do you think the left keep bringing up Trump? Because it is to mask the fact the left is destroying this nation. And after years of talks of Russia and the 2016 election, that was investigated. People stopped the 2020 election investigation saying it was secure. So I am not losing, we all are.
1
@sekhmara8590 maybe. I chat with a lot of people. Seeing how you are talking now chances are I pushed an issue and you just ended up name calling me and going away.
1
@sekhmara8590 what is trolling to you?
1
@Mydogslove2laugh I never called the majority report. I find it kind of sad that people like you believe such things. I suggest you see a therapist as you are imagining things.
1
@Rae Tavia I don't just ask why. I go point by point and break down how they are not correct and thus he is not a fascist. You make it sound like someone gives examples and I simply say "not true", but I don't. I go deeper.
1
@mza2195 I just did respond. If it is what I think you are referring to it, at one point he said Trump did a Muslim ban, he did not do a muslim ban. Many nations with a large muslim population were still allowed to travel. He was given a list of nations that are a issue when it comes to travel and immigration and placed a ban on them until things became better. So yes, someone did give me answers and I replied.
1
"Americans do not like to be told what to do or how to live their lives" Sure about that? Did you see how people acted during covid?
1
So you are going to listen to Chomsky about climate change?
1
@seanwhitehall4652 because that is outside of his field. And he has a long history of having very poor thoughts outside of his field. He is brilliant as a linguistic, but outside of his field he is a fool. He gets away with it because he sounds smart and writes well. I suggest you read the book "Why We Disagree About Climate Change" by Mike Hulme.
1
@seanwhitehall4652 Chomsky is a fool. He praised Venezuela before it became a dump. Chomsky is like most in academics, brilliant in their field, ignorant outside of it. Not saying that is bad. Chomsky was very impactful in his field. Problem is that he ego caused him to have an opinion outside of it, and the way he speaks and write looks brilliant, but when you look past that you see he is wrong. You bring up Manufacturing Consent when what he wrote is clear to anyone who can think for themselves. It wasn't anything ground breaking. As for Mike Hulme, he is a brilliant climate scientist that has a moderate approach on the issue. I suggest you read his book and follow his approach, not Chomsky who has no clue what he is talking about on the topic of climate change.
1
@ereyes6718 please explain.
1
Really? In 2000 you had the constant recounts. After 2016 it was all talks of Russia interference. Also, the EC is important, we need to keep it.
1
Why? Is Trump really that bad? Our nation has been divided for years, Trump just exposed it.
1
@Rae Tavia so how is it outdated? The Constitution is there to limit the governments. As for money in politics, that is a complex issue. It is not cut and dry as many make it out to be.
1
@sekhmara8590 watch Stephen Michael Davis's recent video comparing Cuba to Taiwan.
1
@Rae Tavia you never debunked it. Please try now. Be interesting to see what you have to say. State rights are valuable and needed. A centralized government will not work. I broke down why state rights are valuable. Every state have different cultures, resources, climates, etc. They have different challenges. A centralized approach will not work as a one size fits all policy will fail. Also, as I said, the more local government is the more control you have over it. The fact you refuse to try to counter anything I say shows you have nothing.
1
@Rae Tavia when did I say I want money to stay in politics? I am saying it is complex. For example, donating money to a candidate is technically money in politics, but it is one way one can support a candidate. It is not a black and white issue.
1
@Rae Tavia you get rid of state rights you will see the rise of fascism, for real. For example, because of state rights the military cannot enforce state laws without consent of the governor. Get rid of state rights you will have the military being sent to places by the president he does not like. Another benefit of state rights is that it places limits on all governments, especially the federal.
1
@Rae Tavia and who run the public funded campaigns? The current politicians in charge? Or people picked by the politicians? So you want to make the situation worse by giving current politicians more power and the ability to stay in power? And when did I say I ever supported money in politics? I have said many times it disturbs me how they are dividing us and becoming rich in the process.
1
@Rae Tavia you have three times what? Why aren't state rights needed? Again, I am living in my 3rd state in my life. The differences of each ones are huge. Here is another reason why to have state rights. Almost all issues have an objective and subjective side to them. The subjective side depends on the culture as people have different beliefs, lifestyles, etc. That is why state rights exist. What will work in one area will fail in another.
1
@Rae Tavia how do you establish public funding campaigns? Who manages them? Will be some government official picked by the current politicians or the politicians themselves? You never answered any of those questions.
1
@Rae Tavia " intil you accept that you are wrong and realize that the leftist ideology is the path forward all your posturing is pointless and disengenious. We will remain dvided untik people like you admit you are wrong" Ironic comment. You are saying "You are wrong, I am write. So just admit you are wrong and submit to me and do what I say and we will call it unity" You see, I am saying we are all Americans and via the Constitution was rights. However, there is also flexibility in how the people govern themselves. If you are left leaning then go live in a left leaning area of the nation. Create your own laws that are within the framework of the Constitution and enjoy life. Same if you are right leaning. And don't ridicule other states and other parts of the nation when they decide to live differently. I practically lived in CA. I don't agree with how their state is ran. However, I don't live there now. I live in a red state. While I don't agree with how the people of CA live I will 100% disagree with a centralized government ran by Republicans creating laws to change the way the people of CA live. It is the same in how Garland is suing TX for their abortion law because he disagrees with it. Or how deBlasio criticized TX for the abortion law. Why should deBlasio care? He does not live there, the people of TX do not vote for him nor pay his salary.
1
@Rae Tavia this is why Trump won. People are sick of leftists and the liberal elites going around saying to people they disagree with "you are wrong and dumb" with no reason and then trying to force their ways on others. I remember when the left, when it came to issues like gay people or race it was about accepting them as everyday people. I agree. Now the left refuse to accept people with different political beliefs. The left has gone insane.
1
@Rae Tavia we will remain divided until people like you mind your own business. Tell me, what state do you live in? Seriously. Do this, worry about your state, your local community, and don't try to force your way of life on people in other states where you don't pay taxes, you don't vote, you don't work in, etc. That is how I live.
1
@MephilestehDarkness who is a traitor? The reason why so many supported Trump was because people are sick of the left politicizing everything, calling people they disagree with dumb, or even racist, and people are sick of the left trying to push their way on people. And it is getting worse. Look at how Biden is acting. We have been diving as a nation that started in the 80s, but it grew and took off under Obama when people said the only reason why someone disagreed with them because he was black. And that took off to the mess we are now. Leftists, leave people alone. Live in your little leftist part of the nation and leave other people whom you hardly hang out with alone.
1
Way to divide our nation.
1
@jamesbrown5896 not really. Yes, we are divided, it has been starting since the 80s. People are migrating to areas where they can live around people with similar political ideas. Not saying that is wrong, that is a great part of state rights. The problem is that the left and liberal elites can't mind their own business. A reason why Trump won is because people are sick how the left and liberal elites are politicizing everything, calling anyone they disagree with dumb, and trying to push their lifestyles and ways on people. The left need to mind their own business like the right is trying to do.
1
So after years of hearing how Trump was a fascist, you support Biden having that much power over the people and system?
1
Democrats stole the election. If people think Biden really received over 80 million votes they are fools. The only reason why he would receive that much is because people wanted to get back to normal. How is that working out? Covid is still around, Biden can hardly speak, the economy is terrible, Biden blames the people for his poor polling numbers. Biden is a mess. Really, how was Trump bad? Especially compared to Biden.
1
The left keep stalling on Jan. 6th investigation and hearings because they know after both nothing will come from it. The left need to keep Jan. 6th around to try to make republicans look bad as the left are doing a terrible job in managing the nation.
1
@CrowTR0bot no, the left need to keep Trump and covid around as distractions for their failures.
1
@223Drone Mike and Sam both cherry pick data. I have brought it up many times.
1
@MephilestehDarkness what are my lies?
1
@RocketmanRockyMatrix true. When Sam debated Kirk there was a moderator. Kirk is not that bright, but he did much better. Sam said many times to "google it" to the audience. The first one was on wage growth and inflation. Well, google what? What method of inflation? CPI, PCE, GDP deflator? And what about the shortcomings related to inflation? When Sam is out of his element he is terrible.
1
@RocketmanRockyMatrix true. What is worse is when his co workers do it as well. That is why I refuse to call in at this point. There will be no point.
1
@223Drone how so? I gave you examples on how Sam was bad. Telling people to "google it" on complex issues is not an argument. Again, in inflation, what method? PCE, CPI, GDP deflator? And what about the shortcomings on inflation such as new technology bias or replacement bias?
1
@223Drone they haven't what?
1
@RocketmanRockyMatrix good luck with that guy. All he does is name call and he can't answer a simple question I keep giving him.
1
@223Drone I do back up my claims. I just gave you a comment citing a study. I also broke down how Sam telling people to "google it" is flawed. Inflation and wage growth and comparing the two is complex. There are multiple ways to measure inflation. Sam never says which method. He also did not suggest to consider new technology bias or replace bias etc. He just said "google it". Watch the debate.
1
@223Drone when did he say those things? And what white supremacist talking points?
1
Garland can't do anything. Whatever he does ends up in court, that's as far as he can go really. He can't just arrest people.
1
What is ironic is that with all people calling Trump a racist, Biden is an actual racist "I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy," From Biden's mouth.
1
@keirfarnum6811 the issue is that leftists like Mike follow the liberal elites without question. I don't think Mike is an elite, what I am saying is that him and many of his fans follow the liberal elites without question. Look at how many just agreed with the liberal elites when they called Trump a racist, a bigot, dangerous, etc. Or look at covid how leftists just followed the liberal elites without question. People like you say you want M4A, lower education costs, etc. but then just blindly follow the elites without question. Look at how leftists are taking the covid vaccine and the boosters after years of complaining about big pharma.
1
@amacookies89 what did Trump say that was racist? How did he run on racism and division? Meanwhile, Biden said we need a woman of color for VP, that is racist an sexist. He said about Obama "I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy," He called Rittenhouse a white supremacist. He immediately supported Smollet when Smollet faked his beating. So Biden is a racist. But how is Trump? I need examples.
1
@lisabagdonjones1950 and there is a push to vaccinated kids even though there is limited testing done on it. Kids are not at risk of covid.
1
