The guy is correct. The left is a cult at this point and they have become insane. When someone brings up legit counter points and concerns about ideas from the left the left start crying racism, or bigotry, or saying you are dumb.

@Eldritch-1 good thing McHugh mentioned that. He said typically they do not regret their decisions. What he says is that their lives do not change as in their relationships, situation at work, etc. He says "But in every other respect, they were little changed in their psychological condition. They had much the same problems with relationships, work, and emotions as before. The hope that they would emerge now from their emotional difficulties to flourish psychologically had not been fulfilled" In that the mental situation is not solved.

@beeswillinherittheearth5084 here is the thing with a mental illness. You can't just get surgery and change the mind. People who are anorexic have a mental disorder. Will giving them liposuction make them feel skinny? No as you are not curing the mind. That is the point. Changing someone's body does not cure the mind.

The idea of comedy pushing boundaries is needed. We need to be able to laugh as ourselves. A big problem we have now is that if someone gets offended the whole world needs to change. We need to be able to laugh at ourselves. it is how we enjoy life. It is the same as with sports names. The Indians are now the Guardians? The Redskins are now the Commies? Too many people are too sensitive today and it is ruining society. What is ironic is that if a LGBTQ person, or a person of color is offended the left runs to defend them. But if the left, or the LGBTQ person, or a person of color says something offensive that is OK in today's world. It is messed up.

What stupidity? Rogan and his guest have great points here. Take the climate change issue. The left has gone insane on it. For decades their predictions have been wrong but they keep pushing the idea that it is a threat and we need to make radical changes now or we will die.
