@LittleAl016 how so? But not enforcing it? Also, he completely misrepresented it calling it the don't say gay bill.
2
I see the differences. Sheriffs are supposed to enforce the law, same with this state attorney. No exceptions. When you allow for them to pick and choose what laws to enforce you get into the position where a corrupt sheriff or a corrupt state attorney does not enforce laws to help out their buddies. .
2
The state attorney was not doing his job, the suspension is justified. What does Mike want?
2
@LittleAl016 it doesn't matter, that is not his job. If he wants to law change he should run for state congress.
2
@southstsnip3r258 they decide who to prosecute based on the laws written.
2
For what?
1
@LittleAl016 who did he silence? What power did he abuse?
1
@LittleAl016 the state attorney was not doing his job. And what prosecutor?
1
@LittleAl016 he was not. He signed a pledge saying he would not enforce the abortion law. It is his job to enforce the law, not pick and choose which ones to enforce. If he wants to law changed he can run for the state congress.
1
@LittleAl016 funny how people are calling Desantis a dictator when the state attorney is doing just that,, one guy picking and choosing what laws to enforce.
1
@theflyingwelshman5338 the people should not be mad at him then but instead at the state congress. All he is doing is his job he is assigned to do.
1
@LittleAl016 if he does not want to do the job he can quit, or he can run for congress and try to change the law. But in his position he is not there to decide if a law is just or not. What you are supporting is giving one person all the power to control people. Say this state attorney is a pedophile and does not enforce any laws regarding possession of child pornography because he felt it is unjust? Well, you gave him that power.
1
@223Drone who is he silencing? They guy can still speak his mind. And criminalize protests how?
1
@Gerryjournal who is a fascist here?
1
@FrozEnbyWolf150 the colonists gathered and after peaceful attempts to change they went violent. If the people of FL do not like they law they can take peaceful routes to change it. At some point violence is justified, but we are nowhere near that. Point being, there are methods to change the law if people do not like it One guy going rogue is not that route. With slavery, same thing. In both cases it isn't one guy going rogue.

On gender affirming care on kids there are several points there. One, there is a lot of doubt it actually works. Next, kids minds are not fully development. And as with any trans issue there is the argument they have a mental illness. Also, it is slippery slope, you allow it now it will lead to surgery. Just like it first started with gays and lesbians led to LGBTQ+ and more colors on the rainbow flag. There has to be a stopping point.
1
@sekhmara8590 why do you guys just call people trolls and refuse to actually engage on the issues?
1
@melgibson7313 what do you mean? Care to give examples.
1
@erenyeager2964 no, I recall the incident. You gave me a title of a so call study and when I looked it up a study came up that totally went against your ideas. I brought that up and you back pedaled saying "whoa whoa whoa, that study does not even exist" So to me it was, one, why are you making things up? Or two, the study was real and you jus read the title and not the actual study. Both do not make you look good. And I never delete comments.
1
@erenyeager2964 I never deleted my comment. AT times comments do not show up on youtube. But I never delete comments. I leave them up as I am fair. That is why I responded to you here. I have nothing to fear.
1
@erenyeager2964 I never ran away. Here I am checking back on this comment a day later. Chances are I came back and saw no response from you over a couple of days and moved on. Uh, have you not noticed that a lot of comments are not showing up on youtube recently? I am not deleting them. I never delete comments. Go check other comment threads. Look at the number of comments listed and how many there actually are. Are that many people deleting comments?
1
@erenyeager2964 I do not delete comments. And yes, I have logged off and checked if comments are showing. They aren't. Again, look at other comment threads, you will see a situation where it says there are X amount of replies but only Y amount show up and Y<X. But whatever, you have to make up studies to push your case, and when called out you back pedaled.

@michaelhoward5628 a lot of people. Cuomo, Newsom, Whitmer, Biden, Harris. DeSantis is loved by the people in FL.
1
@223Drone how so? Please give me examples.
1
@223Drone what laws? Please list them.
1
@223Drone typical response from you.
1
@223Drone list the laws.
1
The elected official was not doing their job and was breaking the law.
1
@Southwest_smooth_son nowhere in the bill does it say gay?
1
@Southwest_smooth_son ok, what is wrong wit that? At a young age teachers should not be talking about sexual orientation to kids as doing so will have to lead to a discussion about sex. Do you support a 2nd grade teacher talking to their students about sex? As for notifying parents, that should be done. Parents should know if something is up with their kid. So I see nothing wrong here.
1
@223Drone that bill mentions nothing of LGBT.
1
@223Drone how is it anti lgbt?
1
@223Drone don't see anything in the law mentioning LGBT people.
1
@TheseEyesSeeDarknessClearly7 you say you support the left economically, which is fine, but the social issues like the trans issue is a big reason why so many oppose the left and see them as insane. Think about Dick Levine, he is an obese man who thinks he is a woman and has a role in mental and physical healthcare in this nation.
1
True. What is funny is that Mike calls DeSantis a dictator, or a fascist. This state attorney is acting like an actual fascist. He is basically saying it is his choice to decide what laws to exist as opposed to the people at the state legislature.
1
@ElronLaVey you won't get an answer from this guy, just giving you a heads up.
1
@ElronLaVey you are correct. They just responded just like you said they would.
1
@melgibson7313 typical non response from you.
1
@vxicepickxv what speech is being silenced? What medical care is being denied?
1
@LittleAl016 he was not.
1
@LittleAl016 he was not doing his job.
1
@dirkthewrench the state attorney said he was not going to enforce the abortion law, he signed a pledge saying that. He doesn't get to pick and choose what laws to enforce. If he wants the law changed he should run for a spot in the state's legislature.
1
@dirkthewrench so what sense do I lack?
1
@LittleAl016 he does not write the laws, he does not vote on them. He is assigned to enforce them. Basically you are saying a state attorney can act like a dictator and just enforce laws as he please.
1
@southstsnip3r258 I don't agree with those sheriff's actions. I don't agree with the law but the sheriff has to do their job. If you give people like the sheriff or a state attorney the freedom to just enforce laws they want and not enforce other laws, you give them a lot of power. For all calling Desantis a dictator this state attorney is doing just that. You give them that freedom you create a situation where a state attorney won't enforce laws on people they like, like friends, families, donors, etc.
1
@tschorsch you don't want to give the state attorney that power. You don't want any one person to have that power. How would you feel if he did not enforce murder laws for people who are his friends?
1
@Dead_Guy_Bob it is not a strawman.
1
@ryankramer8779 who is he discriminating against if he enforces the law?
1
@ryankramer8779 what law is discriminatory? That is one point. Next, it is not his job to decide if a law is discriminatory, that is the job of the court. ' You see, in government, a proper one that serves the people, we have checks and balances and people doing their assigned job. With your standard you want the state attorney to be a fascist, to decide what laws to enforce and not enforce. Heck, I bet you would love to have them create laws. I find it ironic how so many here call Desantis a fascist but then support literal fascists like this state attorney.
1
Here is the point. This law was created and passed by the state legislature which consists of many politicians that the people voted for. It was signed by the governor, that the people voted for. And the state SC said it was constitutional. It went through many layers and many people to become law. One many deciding not to enforce it is authoritarian.
