Innocent until proven guilty.

@OfficialSeth still not guilty. Innocent until proven guilty

@avinashreji60 in jail for what?
2
@soulife8383 the problem with your idea is that someone can drag on the investigation essentially punishing the person that way.

The political right is not that big on social issues anymore, especially the young. They don't care what sexuality you are, what race you are, what gender you are, what your family values are, etc. I mean, look at how they support Trump, a man who is divorced twice and cheated on his wife with a porn star.
1
@dusklunistheumbreon what anti-LGBT legislation? Name them. What I see is the that left are the ones that freak out over social issues. Example, when FL passes a law preventing teachers from talking about inappropriate material to kids the left called it the don't say gay bill. The left is the one making a big deal about someone's sexuality, race, gender, family values, etc. A big reason why Trump gained support in the primaries is because he wasn't talking about social issues. In 2016 the republicans annoyed people talking about social issues like gay marriage. People on the right, especially young people don't care about the social issues. They have moved on to more important issues.

@dusklunistheumbreon I want you to give me the list. "It didn't ban inappropriate topics. It banned any mention of LGBT people existing." It does not. It bans the discussion of sexuality with kids, especially those in elementary school which is a a good thing. Teachers should not be talking about sex with kids at that age.
1
@dusklunistheumbreon you saying "look it up" is a cop out. Look up what sources? Fox News? Daily Wire? Fact is you cannot name a single one is proving my point. "Also, it banned any mention of sexuality or gender. Which does not mean sex." It bans discussion of sex. Answer this. A student is wondering what being gay means. Say that student is a 2nd grader. How do you answer that? How do you answer what being gay means? "What it banned is mentioning you were married at all." No it does not. " Or saying anyone's pronouns, cis or trans. Or even wearing a wedding ring." No it does not ban that. Point to me where in the law it bans any of that.
1
@dusklunistheumbreon you can give titles of articles. And again, how would you describe what being gay means to a 2nd grader?
1
@dusklunistheumbreon "Also I literally just gave you exactly what would be said to explain what being gay is to a 2nd grader. " You did not. How will you describe to a 2nd grader what being gay means?
1
@dusklunistheumbreon i love many men in my life, I also love many women in my life. So what am I?
1
@dusklunistheumbreon so you tell that to a 2nd grader that is a male, and they love their friends who are also male. So now that kid thinks they are gay. Do you agree?
1
@dusklunistheumbreon see, here is the issue. There is a difference between loving someone and sexual attraction. I love both men and women. But I am sexually attractive to only women. So now do you see the confusing message you will be sending to kids?
1
@dusklunistheumbreon " Okay, except you deliberately ignored a qualifier there. Romantic and platonic love aren't the same thing." Ok, what makes them different? "This is also largely irrelevant to the fact that you can explain attraction without mentioning sex." What kind of attraction? I am attracted to a cat in a way as I find them to be cute and fun to be around. So am I into beastiality? "And that the don't say gay bill never banned discussing sex with 2nd graders because that was alread banned" It was closing a loop hole. "You're also failing to prove your point about the extreme right (i.e. the gop) not being anti-minority. " How are they anti minority? I mean, you have so failed failed to show how you can explain to a 2nd grader what it means to be gay. "Although, to be fair, that point was also impossible to prove, given the overwhelming evidence showing that they are."' What evidence? And don't try to change the subject here bud. Just because you are losing on one subject does not mean you can change it to another.
1
@dusklunistheumbreon Again, how do you explain to a 2nd grader what does that you are gay. Why do you keep avoiding that.
1
@miscalotastuff733 you don't take people's rights away until they are found guilty. By your standard what will happen is that someone can investigate their political opponent and drag it out harming them that way.
1
Innocent until proven guilty. Or does that mean nothing to you.
1
@dusklunistheumbreon uh, yes it does. It is why when someone is charged for a crime you can't just keep them in jail. We don't punish people until they are actually ruled as being guilty of a crime. " Fun fact, dragging on the investigation is actually explicitly forbidden by the constitution." Where? I feel I know what you are referring to, but I have an easy counter argument.
1
@dusklunistheumbreon "We don't wait for a serial killer to be convicted before arresting them, because that would be absolutely stupid." No, we give them bail so they can walk. We are not some third world corrupt nation (yet, but we are heading there under the democrats). We just don't hold people behind bars just because we don't like them.
1
@dusklunistheumbreon define a "speedy trial".
1
Accused does not mean being guilty.
1
@terrystevens3998 Many people may be a predators. So I suggest you just hide your kids from life.
