The numbers are very conservative meaning it would most likely cost more. Also, it is just looking at public spending and not private spending. So in all these numbers are an under estimate.

Googl Silzmiyinfo, I heard of that study of the 45,000 dying a year. What similar study was done in other nations? None. So there is nothing to compare that 45,000 to making it an empty stat. You cannot say if it is high, low or the norm. People die in other nations due to shortcomings in their healthcare systems. Up to 7000 die a year in Australia on waiting lists waiting for "elective" surgery. Overall, when you break it down the US system is on par with other nations.

Googl Selzmiyinfo, saying there are X amount of people without healthcare is deceptive. One, the ER cannot turn anyone away. Next, in other nations how many have to wait months before they even receive healthcare? Sure, on paper they are covered, but in reality they wait a long time. People die in other nations as well due to their healthcare system. I noticed how you did not counter the fact I gave about Australia or how you cannot produce a comparison study to the 45,000 number. All you do is give insults. .

The ER is a good argument because if you can't pay you just don't. That is one reason why healthcare is expensive in the US. you have people who can actually pay paying for people who can't. In many ways we have a universal healthcare system. Next, the idea that 25 million lack healthcare insurance is deceptive. I would agree that insurance companies have too much power, but the better argument is why is insurance healthcare? Many healthcare situations can be paid for out of pocket and insurance can be used for expensive, unplanned cases. Like car insurance covers a car accident but not an oil change. That is a topic we can discuss if you want. But overall, to me, it ties into the payroll tax and how we do not have a free market system in healthcare. There are other examples I can give. In Canada many die waiting for "elective" heart surgery. Besides that you criticize me for leaving things out when you are clearly doing it yourself. Healthcare is a complex issue.

Googl, a lot of preventative care can be done simply through a healthier lifestyle. In other nations they have healthier lifestyle by eating out less, lower obesity rates and lower smoking rates. Also, many do go to the ER for simple things because they lack healthcare insurance. The reason why healthcare insurance is so expensive because we don't have a free market system in healthcare. We have a for profit system with many government regulations. Insurance companies have value to taking care of inelastic situations, but since insurance is a form of payment by employers it becomes healthcare which is a problem. Why is it that something necessary like cars have become better and cheaper over the years when they are a part of a free market? Many health issues are no guaranteed either. I probably won't get cancer. I probably won't get into a major accident. More seeing the doctor increases demand without increasing supply which means higher costs.
