Really the opposite. Many blue states are struggling due to their actions. Mainly with covid restrictions. Many refuse to go on vacation or shows as they do not want to wear a mask or show vaccine cards. I just visited the bay area, empty restaurants and people not wanting to visit. I just traveled across the nation and now live in a red state. Crowder dining rooms in restaurants and people living life. Bill Maher said doing his shows in blue states is terrible due to restrictions where in red states it is much easier. Blue states are shooting themselves in the foot right now.

@nancymesek how so? People are leaving blue states for a reason. People are sick of the democrats and how insane they are. In CA there is trash on the side of the roads, many homeless people in the bay area, the state looks like a mess.

@LittleAl016 no, blue states are. They have the highest unemployment rates, higher cost of living and people are leaving their states. I just left a blue state, it was depressing and falling apart. I am in a red state now. People living life normally and things are improving.

If there is a civil war it is because of the left. When states pass state laws that their citizens agree with and the left freak out, that creates a divide. For example, TX passed their abortion law that the people of TX want. Mayor deBlasio criticizes it in a press conference. Why should he care? I represents NYC, not TX. But that action creates a divide.

@Animeplayer sure, if that is what that state wants. It is constitutional. Why should outsiders care? Same in if a state like NY or CA want relaxed abortion laws that is on them. I, as an outsider, should not complain nor should I push for the federal government to change it. You see, Biden cries of unity which means submit to him. He is sending the AG to sue TX over that abortion law. Or when he called republican ran states dropping mask mandates Neanderthals, that is divisive. The fact is the left is dividing us.

@Animeplayer deaths from "red states" being high is because blue states like NY and NJ were so high to begin with. Other states have essentially either caught up, or blue states like NY and NJ wiped out all the vulnerable from the beginning. But even at that, deaths are dropping across the nation. And there are many factors related to deaths. Most in red states rather live life than living in fear like they are in blue states. The fact is the left is extreme and dividing us.

The only reason those states are "turning blue" is because rich democrats destroyed states like NY and CA, are moving to successful red states and are going to destroy them as well. I have seen it first hand.

You can't consume what you don't produce. What is the point of living when you can't enjoy life? Also, productivity increases the quality of life.

I was just in the Bay Area, empty restaurants, people cannot pay rent, things are a mess. I just drove through red states. Full restaurants, people going about their life, unemployment is low, etc. Cost of living have a lot to do with politics. When in blue states they give money away the cost goes up. Now what is the cost of a 4 bedroom house in CA?

@intuitionz1198 I just left a blue state, it is a mess there. Unemployment is high, productivity is down, people being depressed having to wear masks. I drove through many red states recently. It seemed normal as people are going about their day. The economy is doing great in red states. Enjoy your blue state paradise of garbage on the streets, massive inequality, etc.

@j0j0dartiste21 giving money away for not producing raises prices. Small example. Say you have 5 people and 3 sandwiches. The three people with the most money will buy them. Now give those 5 people $10 extra dollars. The price of the sandwiches will go up because there are still only 3 of them. And wages are fine overall, inflation is the problem because money is being given away. The right does want to interact with the other side, the left is the one that tells them to be quiet and obey. BLM did not march for Tony Timpa. And I want cops to be held accountable. But there needs to be a process. Immediately calling them racist and guilty before an investigation occurs like BLM does is not wise. And going as far as having Maxine Waters pushing for people to get more confrontational if they do not get the guilty verdict they want no matter the evidence is not good either.

What happened between him and the cops can be debated on if Derek is guilty or not. But even if Derek was in the wrong it doesn't make Floyd out to be a guy to worship. Why not celebrate the lives of black individuals who produced in society and made changes? It shows how low the left is going at this point. You worship a drug addict felon.

I don't a problem with these laws. Giving out mail in ballots to people who do not want it will limit voter fraud. I received two last election, why? I voted in person. Really, everyone should vote in person unless you are out of town or have some health issue. And what is wrong with election audits? Mike is scared that democrats are going to have a harder time stealing another election.

Who is locking people up for smoking pot? You can do it in your home. Most do. What rights are women losing? And how is voting being restricting. Also, most on the right support smoking weed. They support abortion as rare, safe and legal. How am I not educated and informed?

But on marriage, gay people could have always gotten married, government never recognized it in the past. So how about get government out of marriage?

Also, the ban was a tough decision, but given their high suicide rate it is arguably a good decision as you do not want people that unstable in the military. How am I anti gay marriage? Trump did not allow adoption centers to deny gay couples. What he offered was that tax funded organizations be allowed to deny gay couples based on religion beliefs. It is an issue of allow organizations to freely practice religion. If an organization allowed a gay couple to adopt it was legal. Trump never banned that. He is promoting religious freedom. Huge difference. Also, if Trump is anti gay, explain Richard Grenell. Why did Trump hire him? Who is using children as child labor? And Trump is not banning anyone from adopting kids. Get your facts straight. I don't have a problem with a gay couple adopting kids. I support religious freedoms as well. You see, I am fair as I see the whole story. Gay people were always allowed to get married, government just wasn't recognizing it. Get government out of marriage and the problem is solved all around. People can get married and move on. Freedom is important, thus, get government out of marriage. Your concept of marriage is flawed. Again, gay marriage was always legal, government just did not recognize it. To solve the problem have government not be involved in any marriage. How was Pence homophobic? And again, if Trump was homophobic, explain Richard Grenell.

And again, if Trump was homophobic why did he hire Richard Grenell and not make a big deal about it? But Biden pick Mayor Pete and brags about how he hired a gay person. The best route, the actual progressive route is to get government out of marriage. When did I support Jim Crow laws? I support a private business's freedom to deny customers. Doesn't matter the reason. Doesn't mean I agree. "I’ve heard millions of conservatives that want the president to get rid of Twitter, and want the government to stop conservatives in Hollywood like Gina Carano to get fired" I haven't. Even at that, I don't agree with those stances. How am I a racist? When was gay marriage ever illegal? Never. The government did not recognize it. Two gay people can always live together and say they are married. Nothing stopped them. And in many cases same sex couple could always adopt if they want.

So "traditional way", so you are not a progressive and want to keep an archaic system going by having government involved in marriage? Jim Crow laws was the government discriminating which is what I am against. Government should not discriminate. Allow private businesses to serve who they want and deny services is the free market. If a company denies services to a white person because they are white I will support that business's freedom to do so. But please learn what Jim Crow actually is. What facts have you given? None. I say I support businesses having freedom and you call me a racist. Again, if a company denies services to white people I will support that business's freedom. I will disagree with their actions, just like I will disagree if a business denies services to black people, but I will defend their freedom to do so. Big difference.

@damiantirado9616 if a business tells people to wear a mask or have a vaccine passport I am find with allowing them to. I will just go elsewhere. Problem is when government does it. Just like when government was forcing discrimination, that is wrong. But private companies doing it on their own, I support their freedom to do so. If a company was deny black people services I will go elsewhere as I will view them as racist which I do not tolerate.

The media, career politicians, etc. They were so against him because he was making people realize we do not need those corrupt, career politicians and the institutions that support them. Limiting the federal government does give people power as the people govern themselves locally. Do you not like the idea of you having a say in how your local community functions? Would you rather have some overlord in DC do it?

@j0j0dartiste21 not really. I have to drive a long ways to see my federal representative. I personally met my mayor and sheriff. Jim Crow laws are unconstitutional, so no problem there. When Trump became president he stopped being involved with his businesses. So what did Trump have to gain? As for legislation, congress does that. As for regulatory agencies, when he is gone they are gone. And Biden is taking a lot of vacation when times are rough now. The Constitution removed Jim Crow, it was not the federal government. It wasn't congress doing anything but instead the courts making a constitutional ruling.

He lays out ways our nation is divided and how playing the "black national anthem" is wrong. Funny how I am agreeing with Maher, but he is a person who has talked to the other side constantly. Swing states saw unique results and actions. PA changed their voting laws at the last minute without going through the state's congress which is unconstitutional. And what you are seeing are audits, not recounts and illegal ballots were found. Issue is that neither side wants evidence of voter fraud as the people will completely not trust the system after that. So both sides are willing to hide it. To me, it isn't about who won or loss but more of is the system fair and valid. Is that so wrong to ask? To you it is about Biden winning no matter what. For me and others it is about if the rules are fair and valid creating a legit election as if the people's votes matter. Big difference. If Biden was the legit winner than so be it. But the fact that people like you on the left completely dismiss any talks of making sure the election was fair and legit is alarming.

We saw this over the past year, especially with covid. Democrats, who violated their own rules, told you to shut down and you obey. They tell you to vaccinated and still wear a mask and you obey. The same is with social issues. Democrats told you Trump was a racist, but he donated money to HBUC and signed a bill giving them funding. But democrats claimed Trump was a racist and you believed it. Face it, you question nothing. Biden won in your eyes and you love it no matter how it happened.

@smilo_don the debt was increased a ton under Obama and the economy was terrible. The reason it was great under Trump was because he pulled back the federal government and gave more rights to the states. As such, it created more capitalism growing the economy. What we are seeing now is socialism the left wants. We are seeing what people like Bernie and AOC wants. Giving money away to people who produce nothing. That is why inflation is high and productivity is low.

And they push their thoughts and ideas on people and refuse to allow the other side to speak. That is why Trump won, he was speaking for the other side. Take Bill Maher, for example. He is fed up with the left right now. Why? Because he is someone who is willing to talk to the other side. He has had Ben Shapiro on his show. The fact is the left is dividing us. When Jan. 6th happened a unifying statement would be to try to understand their anger, reach out to them. Instead, the left just dismissed them as awful people, ignoring what bothers them. @beeinthehive they are audits, not recounts. The idea of the EC is that the federal government is there for two things, deal with foreign affairs and commerce between states. Overall, it is there to serve the states, not the people. That is why many of our institutions, such as schools, roads, domestic laws, etc are locally installed and ran. Thus, the states vote for the presidency, not the people. The EC created a balance between larger states having more say, but not too much. So even if a presidential candidate receives all of the votes in CA, they still receive only 54 EC votes. It prevents a handful of states from running the nation. If the roles were reversed I will still support the EC as I stick to my standards. I understand why the EC exists and fully support it because I support a limited federal government all around. I support the standards set. And if Biden won in a legit way, so be it. I just laugh at how so many felt Trump was awful when Biden is much worse. Economy is terrible, our nation is becoming more divided, Biden can hardly speak. I find it funny that after years of hearing how bad Trump was and now you people are trying your best to claim Biden is better. Trump was called a racist when Biden said we need a woman of color for VP. How is that not racist and sexist? As for results, again, I care more about the process. If the process was legit and fair and Biden won then so be it. And you don't like Biden? I doubt that. But answer this, how is he better than Trump? What I find to be funny is that the left complain about corrupt politicians. Trump was a guy who attacked them and you guys felt Trump was so bad you replaced him with Biden who is very corrupt. @beeinthehive there have been recounts but mainly audits. Recounting is simply counting ballots. Audits are seeing if those ballots are legit and the election was legit. And sure, people paid for the audits. What is the point? Why are you so against audits to ensure our election was fair?

@beeinthehive the economy being the way it is is because of democrats. The economy was so great the democrats' only strategy was to literally create a pandemic to shut it down. Even then when it started to reopen the economy was starting to boom, so blue states shut it down again. Now under Biden things are not getting better, they are getting worse. Under Trump things did improve immediately. If you are against a centralized government why are you against Trump? And why are you against audits on elections? And I never said Trump won.. Again, I want elections to be fair and legit.. With this past election the way it was an audit should be pushed. Take mail in ballots, for example. It was always the standard you request one. In 2020 mail in ballots were only offered to all as a temporary measure, not a permanent one. The fact the left wants to keep pushing mail in ballots is alarming in many ways.

It means it does not matter who we vote for. Mail in ballots should be used for those out of town or have some sort of disability. Everyone else, show up to a polling station and vote in person. That is the most secure way. And for your beliefs, when you say Trump is a racist and sexist I have a hard time taking your seriously considering how Biden made racist and sexist comments. Or how many on the left has as well. You bring up gay marriage, Trump was the first president to enter office supporting gay marriage. And one reason why he won is because he never talked about social issues like gay marriage because most on the right do not care. If you are gay so what? Most on the right do not care about gay marriage. Only the media and those on the left make it a big deal. And who racially profiling you? Here is the fact, I feel you need to get out more and interact with more on the right. In doing so you will see they are not racist nor homophobic. You have created a false reality to make yourself out to be a victim. That is why you feel for all the lies that were said about Trump. However, it has been so long that I am just laughing at the fact that Biden is already the worse president in history. Where were the guns? If those on Jan 6th wanted to take over, why not bring guns? Trump said go peacefully when Maxine Waters told people to get more confrontational. Do you give Maxine Waters a pass? And he says fight? Big deal, ever politicians says that. Fight how? Protesting is one. He said go peacefully but whatever, ignore that. What ties to the mob?

@j0j0dartiste21 when was Trump going to remove gay couples adopting? How are his justices anti gay? You do know he picked Richard Grenell to be the US Ambassador to Germany? He is gay. But you see, unlike the left, the right do not make a big deal about it as they judge the individual. And Trump supported gay marriage prior to being president. Obama did not support it until his second term. Really, a progressive stance would be to get government out of marriage. Gay marriage was never illegal, government just did not recognize it. So how about get government out of marriage? If you base your life so highly on your sexuality and color of your skin, you are the bigot. What you are essentially saying is that you have to act a certain way because of your sexuality and the color of your skin. That is similar to saying black men should all like basketball. How people treat you is your character, not your sexuality and skin color. If your character is to strongly express you are gay people will find you annoying. In grad school I hung out with a guy for years and found out he was gay 3 years of hanging out with him. Why so long? He did not make a big deal about it. Still hung out with him as I did not care.

For months BLM were burning down buildings, attacking people along with help from antifa. Antifa took over an entire part of a city and the mayor called it the summer of love. What Karen Riots? A cop was not crushed to death. Only one person died on Jan. 6th. And they did not have guns. And oh no, they stole a computer. BLM was burning down private businesses that had nothing to do with policing. And as for overthrowing the government, how was this nation created again? At least they attack Congress, a group they were pissed at. BLM was supposed mad at cops and thus burned down a Wendys. The left does dismiss when the right speaks up. When the George Floyd incident happened people on the right said to wait for an investigation before drawing a conclusion. The left cried racism right of the bat and wasn't willing to calm down and wait for an investigation. The fact is the left create these false realities that the US is full of racist, bigots, homophobics, etc. That is not true though. As for your experience in a rural part of the nation, I doubt it is true. I live in a rural part of the nation and people do not act like that. There are people wearing masks and no one bothers them. The left is all about "me, me, me". Case in point, the vaccine mandates. If you are vaccinated now is an unvaccinated person a threat to you? They aren't. But the left does not listen, they want force. Same in how the left does not accept long term, natural immunity. Face it, the left has gone insane and is dividing our nation.

@beeinthehive 35 trillion what? You need to give me more details. Do you mean wealth? Well, that is flawed. A homeless person technically has more wealth than I do if that person has no debt. Why? Because their wealth is probably a few dollars, my wealth is negative due to my credit card loans, my car loan, my student loans, etc.

@beeinthehive so you say wealth which is flawed. Why? One, it is hard to measure wealth. Again, a homeless person on the street with no debt and say $5 in change has more wealth than me. Why? I have negative wealth in student loans, a car loan, credit card loans, etc. Next, a lot of wealth is non-liquidated. Jeff Bezos has so much wealth because he is the largest shareholder of his company. Shares are not food, clothes, gas, etc. So there is that. Next, he can't just liquidate them that easily because investors will see red flags if he starts liquidating them at a high rate. Another situation that adds value to his shares are this, the simple fact he owns them shows he stands by his company so the value goes up. So you say hording wealth when a lot of wealth is actually worthless to a lot of people across the world. Shares of Amazon will be worthless to someone in Ethiopia as again, shares are not food, clothes, etc. This isn't moving the goalposts but reality. Again, I have negative wealth. A homeless person with no debt has more wealth than me. Now who has a better life? Also, compare it to this. If things get really bad, as in an actual pandemic, or a war where society is falling apart, the shares of Amazon are worthless. Actual material goods are at that point. So those billionaires you complain about will not be in a good position in a situation like that.

@beeinthehive the issue with the Floyd situation is that immediately people was calling Derek guilty prior to an investigation. You should not do that. When evidence was coming out the cops were working with Floyd. He refused to step out of his car. He finally did but refused to go into the patrol car. He was saying he can't breathe and the cop said they would open the window for him. He ask to lay down so they let him. There were three other black individuals there with Floyd, none were harmed. The whole knee on the neck thing is in question. If that is proper police practice then we can discuss if that should change. But at the very worse Derek did manslaughter. But for many he was fully guilty even before any evidence came out. Add in the riots and Maxine Waters saying we should get more confrontational (which in herself was awful to do as a CA representative that will just hide in her gated community in CA if things did), you had a situation that as unjust and a mess. When someone like me suggest we wait for an investigation and a trial before making a conclusion is considered to be a radical, that is how torn apart we are as a nation. There was no straw the broke the camel's back. There were irrational people crying racism and the media and politicians egging them on to cause chaos. It was sick and pathetic. And to make things worse people are worshiping Floyd as if he was so hero of society.

Also, maybe if your side did not politicize it it won't be a problem. I had friends wear masks prior to covid. No one cared. The left is the one pushing it, now pushing it on children. Stop the push and move on.

You are trying to do a complex situation where someone decides who gets what when there are too many variables involved. I support more local programs to help people.

@beeinthehive the virus is not mutating deadlier. Even at that, the virus will always mutate. But natural immunity is showing to work against the mutations which is not surprising consider if one was infected with SARS 1 they were immune to covid. I don't watch FOX news. Trump took the vaccine as it was developed under him, but it is showing the vaccine wears off and does not work. Natural immunity appears to work better.

@beeinthehive I agree, cops are not judge, jury and executioner. With the Floyd situation, he was obese, high on drugs, had high blood pressure and under stress. You have to factor that in. It isn't like Derek beat him to death or shot him. And him saying he could not breath is difficult to judge as Floyd was saying that while standing up. And as for no trial. People labeled Derek as guilty right off the bat. And cops are brought to trial all the time. When they aren't is because the evidence supports them.

@beeinthehive he asked to be laid down so they did. But he was still unstable. So you have to factor that in. People on drugs are unstable and unpredictable and can act out even if cuffed. Not fully justifying what Derek did, but you have to look at those factors. And people were basically saying "no trial" by calling him guilty right off the bat.

@beeinthehive using surgeons as an example is poor. One, they dispose of their masks often, many wear the same one for weeks. Next, with a doctor that is in a control setting with gloves, a clean area, doctors are not constantly touching their face to adjust their masks, etc.
