What is wrong with this ruling? Prayer is not being forced. This is simply allowing people to pray in school which is not unconstitutional.
3
Exactly. There is nothing wrong here.
2
@LittleAl016 they guy was not forcing anyone to pray. Thus, what he is doing is legal.
2
@LittleAl016 how did he force students t pray?
2
@223Drone he did not force anyone to pray.
2
@kurisu7885 pressured how?
2
@kurisu7885 did he tell them to pray with him? If not then there is nothing.
2
@salomaogomes7311 he did not peer pressure anyone.
1
@223Drone again, separation of church and state is not a thing.
1
@223Drone where in the Constitution?
1
@223Drone the 1st amendment does not say that.
1
@alanparedes2427 I doubt you had to pray in order to play. He did not force any students to do anything.
1
@223Drone where? Reading the 1st amendment. I am not seeing the words "church", 'state", "separation" in the 1st amendment.
1
@kurisu7885 now you are moving the goal posts.
1
@223Drone just checked, I do not see anything in the 1st amendment that says separation of church and state.
1
@223Drone "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." So where are the words "church", "separation", "state".
1
Liz Skelton so teenagers can be peer pressured into do prayer because they are weak, but they should be allowed to determine their gender? The left has zero standards.
1
@LittleAl016 "The 1st Amendment literally decrees that the church and the state shall remain separate entities." Actually it does not.
1
@salomaogomes7311 not it doesn't. I read the first amendment. I do not see the words "church", "state", "separate" there.
1
@salomaogomes7311 where does it say that?

Kaepernick was not NFL QB material.
1
@LittleAl016 no he wasn't. To be an NFL QB you either have to be 1. Young enough to be a project 2. Savvy enough to be a back-up to talk strategy with the starter, or work with a young, rebuilding team 3. Be good enough to be a consistent starter Kaepernick was 1. 29, not young 2. Not smart, and that was proven more with some of his comments such as comparing the NFL combine to slavery 3. Not a consistent starter. less than 60% completion is not good
1
@LittleAl016 no, I know quite a bit about him. Many QBs in the NFL have been unsigned. Tim Couch was a number 1 pick in the draft, out of the league by the age of 26.
1
@Seargent363 that would be illegal. A court ruling has already stated that a school cannot mandate the Pledge of Allegiance.
