@dragon111409 with road signs, etc., they do not radically stop society. They are a median ground. Also, they are local laws. But on road signs, what will end basically all traffic related deaths will be to ban driving. But if you do not want to go that far, limit speeds to 15 mph. Ok, but what will happen to productivity? It will go down to a great point that it is doing more harm. Thus, a median is created.
As for schools, again, locally ran. Also, those vaccines have been around for decades and are not politicized or being pushed to this degree.
And back to traffic laws. Even with laws, you still need to be a defensive driver. Do you just drive down the road with no care or awareness? If so, tell me where you live so I can be more aware myself if I drive there. There are still bad drivers. There are still drivers who break the law and speed. Thus, you , as a driver, need to be aware to prevent an accident.

@dragon111409 I am not issue hopping. The point I am making is setting a standard with government and keeping it. If you allow government to mandate that they can stick a needle in my arm and inject anything, that is dangerous. Those are legal doorways I do not want to open.
So stay on issue, masks. So many were like "just wear a mask, it is not a big deal". But the issue was how is government going to go? When will they start making us wear other pieces of flair?
"We are talking about a 1 time vaccine mandate to litterally save lives."
Yeah, just like this was supposed to last only 2 weeks. You say it is only one time, but eventually it leads to more. Also, end the end, it is one me to decide my life. Why doesn't government ban fast food? Me eating it is a danger to my life. Why doesn't the government ban football?
"you wouldn't live in a house wired by a random guy who never touched a wire before. You wouldn't walk across an interstate in like California , You wouldn't use a gun with a known faulty barrel that could explode. "
Yeah, my personal choice, not the governments. If I want to walk across the interstate that is my choice, no government involved.
"There are precedents for these laws in america."
'
And there are standards in how we create those laws and what laws can be created.

@dragon111409 covid is not that dangerous. That is the overall issue. Is there some danger? Sure. But not to the point to justify what we did. And really not to the point to set dangerous standards with government. You say it is one vaccine, but it never stops there. Just like the federal income tax, when first implemented was supposed to be temporary. It expanded to the mess we have now. Same with gun laws how a 100 round drum was ban. Who needs it? Well, it expanded to where in some places 10 round magazines are banned.
Also, you can kill others by running in traffic. Or what about the psychological effects of someone hitting someone else with their car? There is that.
" The unvaccinated will be horrifically crippled and or die"
Chances are they won't. Be even at that that is on them. If you are vaccinated why should you care?
"You can't make the choice to drive wrecklessly and murder pedestrians with you car without consequences , you can't drive drunk without consequences ,"
Yeah, but those laws were created with a standard and via a middle ground. Banning driving will eliminate all traffic related deaths. But banning driving causes way more damage to society. Also, again, there are still dangerous drivers out there, so you need to be a defensive driver. In the end it is on you to protect yourself. I own 4 guns for a reason. One is that if someone breaks into my apartment I know the cops will not be there in time.
" If you chose not to be vaccinated you should expect to be restricted."
Why stop there? How about if you choose to smoke or eat junk food you should be restricted? Why? The whole goal at the beginning was to reduce hospitalizations. Obese people have bad health. Over 70% of those placed on ventilators for covid were obese. So why not punish obese people?
That is the path you are looking to go down.

@mithramusic5909 the tax cuts improved the economy and thus, the lives of Americans. And you say "studies", what studies?
And I agree that misinformation on science is a problem. Read the BMJ response to the editor entitled
"Covid-19: Science, Conflicts and the Elephant in the Room"
They say
"Hijacking of science by vested interests has resulted in immeasurable harms to society. Lockdowns, meant to save lives but being pushed by narratives that have little basis in science, have themselves caused loss of life, livelihoods, dignity, and humanity. We need to ask how we have got to this sorry state."
You say "I shouldn't have to explain this". Well, I am a scientist myself, thus I know science very well. I know it is complex. This entire time science was politicized to be used as weapon
