Next, this is an issue in healthcare that always occurs. The chances of surviving covid is over 99%. For some it is lower, but still higher than stage 4 breast cancer. With limited resources all around in healthcare, at times doctors and hospitals have to make difficult choices on who gets the most care.
Now yes, us as a society should try our best to reduce hospitalizations all around, but it comes back to that means this guy, who is obese, needs to lose weight. And this should have been a goal prior to covid.
