@azzyfreeman 99% of what number though? Deaths are down overall. So when you say that X% are not vaccinated are the ones dying, when the overall number is low, that means nothing. Also, what were their health conditions to begin with?

@CaneFu what misinformation? So new diseases do not just pop up? Where did this virus come from? If it is natural it will mutate on its own.

How was she anti science? Her death is the extremely rare case. She is an outlier. In science you ignore outliers.

@roskar exactly. The government has been lying to us the whole time. They jerked us around and have only fear mongered the entire way. And now people wonder why some do not want to take the vaccine? When the government says the sky if falling but then violates their own restrictions, people get fed up.

The first lady was old. And after infection, now they are immune. And she lived. So what is the big deal? As for the nurse, it is unclear what she died from. An autopsy was never done yet.

One incident out of millions is called an outlier, not the norm. We do not dictate our lives and actions based on outliers.

Benjamin Muller there was a lot of anti science pushed by people pushing the covid protocols. It goes both ways. I refuse to take the vaccine because I refuse to follow stupid people, on both sides.

@LittleAl016 people were wearing masks and still died. Also, her death was a major outlier. We don't dictate our society functions based on that. Just like we don't remove a vaccine because 8 in a million women develop clots.

The issue is that this was only supposed to last 2 weeks. Here we are a year later still talking about this. When the government and select health officials jerk us around all the time, lie to us, do nothing but fearmonger and not giving positive news showing a light at the end of the tunnel, people revolt. When the vaccine came out many leaders said they will still enforce covid protocols. So what is the point? At the very least many in charge need to take some marketing classes. But in reality, science was politicized.

@bkay95 exactly. Also, if you have been infected you have long term immunity. The fact that there is a great push to get people vaccinated is alarming. Why the great push? If the virus is that dangerous people would be fighting for it.

Science is complex, and many pushing the covid issue as much as they did did so on an anti science stance.

@brandonm949 saying "we have a vaccine if you want it" is the way to do it. But saying "if you get vaccinated you still have to wear a mask" is not the route. Also, when infected, you build up long term immunity. Thus, why push the vaccine on them? To improve distribution why not tell those people there is on rush if they don't want to and give it to those who want/need it. Also, as for health of citizens, that is not the government's business. Why stop at vaccines?
